In-person events may be limited this fall, but there are still many ways for you to get involved and build connections with clubs and organizations on campus!

Fall club activities will follow a hybrid model, where they can be held in-person, entirely online or a mix of the two. Meeting in-person will involve following public health guidelines including proper physical distancing and wearing face coverings.
Adapting to the Unexpected
Central Washington University typically has more than 140 of these student groups on campus, with a wide range of interests, including: Environmental Club, Her Campus, Public Health Club, Student Fashion Association, Central Dungeons & Dragons Club, Central African Student Association, sports clubs and so many more.
Michael Middleton, CWU Student Engagement Coordinator, said moving from in-person to online was a speedy process for spring quarter. The Student Involvement team had planned for the quarter to be in-person, but the pandemic required them to adjust quickly, and provide new ways for students to connect and engage in a virtual world.
There is a club for just about anything on campus, so find one that interests you and join in the fun!
Clubs were no longer allowed to meet in person, and like classes, meetings had to be held online. The Student Involvement team realized the changes they needed to make to also take the stress off of students during their studies. Clubs are a way for students to stay involved in extracurricular activities, so stopping the clubs from meeting was not an option.
Club activities during the fall quarter will look different than in previous years. Students associated with clubs and those joining them for the first time will experience a new way of staying social and involved.
