his BIO. Dr. Kenny Jones, “The Comeback Kid” is an international speaker and author of the Amazon International Best Selling Book, Comeback Season, the Untapped Art of Mastering Your Resilience. He is also the creator of the #WriteDisDown movement designed to equip the masses with quick gems of thought and prompted the release of his 2nd book, Write Dis Down, Daily Reminders to live by and luxury candle line, the #WriteDisDown Home Collection that features scents like centered on the Black experience. Dr. Jones empowers DOERS to embrace their personal stories of triumph and tragedy as the core of their success. He is the creator of "The Comeback Kids”...a proprietary system that has now produced 25 cohorts Black Amazon International Best Selling Authors. Writers who, like him, were told that their stories didn’t matter or their biggest mistake was too great. Dr Kenny has delivered numerous keynotes across the country about resilience and led over 120 aspiring Black authors to achieving their Best Selling dreams. Outside of his personal author work, Dr. Jones is also an expert on adult learners and career access, earning his doctorate degree from Drexel University. His dissertation, "Broken Chains: Nontraditional Aged Black Men Experiences during the College Admissions Process", has helped him break into scholarly writing as well. He has served on numerous journal review boards, including Drexel University’s Emerging Voices in Education Journal and the Journal of African American males in education out of Howard University. Currently, Dr. Ken is head of enrollment for Year Up (Philadelphia), a Barack Obama endorsed organization that exists to close the opportunity divide between non-traditional learners and career access. His books and writing been featured by Drexel University’s School of Education, South University, and the University of Kansas’ medical school. Dr. Jones' work is rooted in seeing the power in turning what was designed to destroy you, into something that elevates you.
