Adapting to rapid change!!
During our recent market research on various manufacturing clusters in India, we came across Rajkot in Gujarat, portraying strong business environment, but having lesser awareness and adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies. That prompted us to think of an event in Rajkot to understand the challenges and opportunities for the manufacturers in the region and help them come out of the comfort zone and get into the global race of manufacturing excellence and competitiveness. With active initiatives from Siemens PLM Software and MTMA-Rajkot, EM had a successful show recently in Rajkot. To our surprise, the response from the manufacturers was more than expected. People were quite open in discussing the problems and challenges, seeking solutions to overcome them. The cover story details further on this. Happy reading!
