Paul Simon wrote “Homeward Bound” in 1964 between performances while waiting for a train to London. Anyone who has traveled can relate to the lyrics and the insistent, driving rhythm of the chorus. “I wish I was homeward bound.” For those who follow Jesus, we know our ultimate home is beyond this world.
