The United States contains a diversity of political opinion as does PUMC and every other congregation. We support our government, elected leaders, representatives, and officials. It was an historic and unusual election season. You may be confused and bewildered by the reactions of family, friends, neighbors, and society at large. Today, we want to provide some comfort, care, and direction. Jesus Christ was King and Lord both before, during, and after the election. And Hebrews 13:8 declares the good news that, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.� Following Jesus is always our best way forward.
