When was the last time you saw anything that really amazed and astounded you? Was it a David Blaine illusion? Maybe a child musical prodigy at the piano? What do you find amazing in your own life?
In response to the first words of Jesus as recorded in Scripture, the people were "amazed." Throughout his life people were amazed, astounded and astonished at what Jesus said and did. His words and actions touched people deeply and changed lives.
Jesus came not just so that he could die on a cross and bring salvation to humanity. The child born in Bethlehem also came to show us how to live. Life lived like Jesus, and with Jesus, is a life that is simply... amazing.
