JUNE 3, 2018 CLASSIC WORSHIP | 8:45 & 10:00 A.M. PREACHING CHAPEL | 11:15 A.M.

ONE “G”OD (THE HOLY TRINITY) ACTS 1:1-8 REV. CHARLIE WILFONG

We all know at least one person who lights up the room—the life of the party. That larger-thanlife personality who is more than just entertaining. Their deeply relational personality seems to connect with everyone. They have a positive and meaningful relationship with everyone because they are mature enough to relate differently with each and all based on their needs, situation, and personality. From the beginning, we have struggled to understand and discuss God in a meaningful way. God is certainly the ultimate “larger-than-life” person in our experience and the witness of the scriptures. It’s no wonder Christians talk about God as a relationship of three—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. But, what does that really mean?

ENCORE TRAVELS TO ZOO If you are 60 or older, you are invited to go with the Encore Senior Ministry group and visit the Indianapolis Zoo. We plan to leave PUMC on Monday, June 11, at 12:30 p.m. This should allow us enough time to arrive at the zoo for the dolphin show which is sure to please everyone! After the show, we will have time to browse thru the zoo before heading to find a place to eat. If you have a suggestion for where we will eat afterwards, please make it known at the time you sign up. Sign up today. Cost will be $15 to be paid at the Encore Desk in the main lobby when you sign up to attend. If you have questions, please contact Sue Hylton at 317.839.2946 or shylton@indy.rr.com.
