Abbotsford Hospice Society invites you to their Annual Moments of Hope Gala, Singing in the Rain.

A spectacular evening when the community comes together to bring hope to those who are hurting and journeying through grief and loss.

The 20th Annual Moments of Hope Gala is being held on April 1, 2023 at the Clarion Hotel & Conference Centre.

Featuring a three-course dinner, silent & live auction, entertainment, danc- ing, and live music performed by Abbotsford School Integrated Arts (ASIA) The Abby Big Band & Vocal Jazz Ensembles, and Willy and The Wannabes.

This year, AHS celebrates 37 years of community support, thanks to our generous community. Holmberg House – Abbotsford’s Hospice, is a 10 bed-facility that provides endof-life care to adults as young as 19.

The building accommodates grief support groups (ages 3+), volunteer training, education seminars, one-on-one support services and more. This event supports AHS in providing palliative patients, their families and loved ones, with a wide range of end-of-life services, both immediate and long-term grief support tailored to their specific situations.

Funds raised at The Moments of Hope gala this year will help protect the legacy of Holmberg House by ensuring the necessary upkeep is completed to protect the exterior of our community’s capital investment.

A resealing of the siding of the house and upgrade to the

HVAC system for $100,000 needs to be completed to protect it from the variety of weather conditions we’ve been experiencing. This process will protect our investment and ensure we have a safe place to continue our care for the community.
