The late Ronald & Helen Greenawalt Hello and welcome to H.C.’s Last Stop. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Cassandra “Cassi” Greenawalt. I am 28 years old and the sole proprietor of H.C.’s. I was born into a long line of hard-working, dedicated entrepreneurs. One family member in particular always knew that, one day, I would follow my dream and own my own restaurant. That woman was my grandmother, the late Helen Greenawalt. My Grandma passed away in 2005, and even though she’s gone, she’s always been by my side. I have dedicated the name and this restaurant to my best friend, my grandmother. The H is for Helen, the C is for Cassi, and Last Stop is because of our secluded countryside setting. Her favorite bird was the Cardinal. She always told us that she would come back as a Cardinal. You will notice several throughout the décor, in memory of her. With the help and dedication of several friends and family members, along with my Grandma looking down on me, I was able to overcome a lot of challenges, face adversity and make my dream come true. It wasn’t always easy and when someone says they put their “blood, sweat, and tears” in, I get it! But, with family and friends cheering me on the whole time, it made the higher walls a little easier to climb. H.C.’s Last Stop is dedicated to making people feel like they are in a clean, comfortable environment while they eat incredible food. We try to get to know every one of the customers and make them part of our H.C.’s family. We are always conjuring up new ideas and open to suggestions. So kick back, relax and let H.C.’s do the rest.
