Healthy city - is a design concept for a new hospital in Viljandi town in Estonia. Small separate hospital volumes recall historical Viljandi architecture. Continuous ground floor and lobby spaces, the courtyard of the hospital extend to the surrounding city spaces. Overall, relation between outdoor and indoor spaces, views from building blocks contribute to better patients' experience and hospital as home atmosphere.
