Welcome to the 2017-2018 edition of the National Guernsey Directory. First, I would like to thank the board and membership for giving me the opportunity to serve as the president of this organization. The American Guernsey Association is the tie that binds the registered Guernsey breeders together, maintains the integrity of the records and is the source for information to the consumer and world. The Guernsey directory gives us the opportunity to connect Guernsey breeders and future Guernsey owners and enthusiasts. I know, as a fellow breeder, that the Golden Guernsey milk has special qualities and that it provides us the opportunity to put a premium product out for the consumer. There are a lot of high quality cows throughout the U.S. that produce lots of milk and also compete on the national show level. Breeders and industry affiliates listed within these pages are dedicated to the Guernsey cow and her milk. Take a minute to peruse the pages and see how the Guernsey cow is spread across the country. As you travel, whether searching for cows or product, hopefully you find this directory useful. The Guernsey Breeders’ Journal is the communication voice of the American Guernsey Association. Published 10-times per year it highlights the association activities, programs, youth, cows and more. For all the up-to-date information on what’s happening in the breed, subscribe to the Journal. A subscription form can be found on page 16. Membership in the American Guernsey Association offers many benefits. Ranging from reduced registration fees to a voice in voting. Membership with the American Guernsey Association is a valuable asset to breeders of Guernsey cattle. The American Guernsey Youth Association offers a friendly camaraderie for youth up to age 21.
