It`s important to understand what is freedom and what are the steps to achieve it so I will give you some concepts on that, bringing the ideas of Tony Robbin`s book, "Money Master the Game: 7 Simple Steps to Financial Freedom". In his book, Robbins interviews some of the most successful individuals on earth, in an attempt to hear from them what is financial freedom all about. He also lays down the 7 simple steps which I will explain in a moment.

We should all know the importance of investing in ourselves, yet some many people try to run away from knowledge, thinking that they know it all. This is a mistake, Robbins explains the determining factor of knowing how to become an investor rather than a consumer and how this is the basis of creating wealth.

The reason why people don`t make enough money is that they don`t know how to be more valuable, instead, they focus on working more and harder.

Knowing the rules of investing in another crucial point, by being selective on your investments, taking advantage of tax efficiency, for example. This explains why most of the wealthiest individuals relocate themselves on areas that are tax friendly.

Tony Robbins focuses on mindset most of the time, and the question he normally asks in his seminars is "What is the cost of your Dreams?" Sometimes our dreams all far less cheap than we think and it is vital to understand that money is just a vehicle. As a vehicle you need to know where to park it, right? This means that asset allocation is a piece of the puzzle, knowing where to invest, how to invest and when to invest should be your concern when trying to build wealth.

I share the same vision as Tony when it comes to having multiple flows of income, and for a better understanding, he refers the 5 states of financial freedom: financial security, financial vitality, financial independence, financial freedom and absolute financial freedom. When the subject is creating wealth, he defends the idea of investing just like the big players by calculating asymmetric opportunities based on risk/reward, low risk, high reward. Remember, billionaires don`t risk anything for 10% return.

The most important note of all is to give back. Tony Robbins is a master at giving as he distributed the book's profits to the hunger relief organization, Feeding America. Every successful human being knows the importance of giving back.
