We all know that messing up is a characteristic of the human being, it is inevitable, it happens to everyone and we can all and must learn from our mistakes and the mistakes of others.

There are many variables around this theme, many theories related to the mistakes that young people make and so I'll make the explanation simple and concentrate on the biggest mistake young entrepreneurs can make.

Whether we are 20 or 35, the biggest mistake is simply wasting time. Time is our most precious immaterial asset, so it's important not to waste it because the goal will always be to get where we want to get in the fastest way possible.

I can give you an example of what I am saying: I enrolled in college with the goal of gaining some knowledge to create my business in the future, and soon realized that probably would only be delaying the whole process and wasting me time, while I could have seriously engaged in what was really important, which was to boot up with my business. Sometimes we do not realize that the road we are following will not take us most effectively to the final destination.

Not only is it important to realize the error we have made, but also to correct it and try to avoid doing so in the future. As a young entrepreneur, it is important to have a sense of urgency, of speed, so that we can achieve our goals as quickly as possible, avoiding other distractions along the way.

There are a few aspects that young people often agree on and are important to the success, for example, not taking our finances seriously, learning how to generate income or spending time, money and effort on things that will not help you to progress. It is important to pay attention to these aspects, to take them seriously, even if it means to move away from our family or friends, leaving our comfort zone, as I did, when I decided to join the military and look for my own change of attitude towards life. If you are not serious about something you are just wasting time.

I made many mistakes during my life, doing things without meaning, did many things lightly, which I was not prepared for, but I learned from my own mistakes, I realized that at some point it would not be ideal to do what I was doing and that I had to move on, using that energy and transforming it to create something very positive, so it's crucial to realize where we can improve and where we want to go in a clear way.
