How many times did you hear a spiritual guru say that if you think hard enough about something you want to achieve, it will happen? I`m sure you already experienced that, but one thing he didn`t tell you was the part where you need to take action. My intention is to clarify the reason why positive thinking alone is shit... and why you`ve been fooled about this topic. My style of communication is all about the truth and today, as usual, you`re gonna get just that! Don`t get me wrong, I`m a huge advocate of positive thinking, it`s one of the values that I carry to every situation of my life but, there is one fundamental equation to this positive attitude, "visualize and it will happen" thing, that almost everyone forgets about, and it`s the simple fact of taking action after thinking. How many people do you know that say they want to do something but never actually do it?

Imagine that you want to lose weight, and you visualize everything in your mind, you`re thinking ambitiously, positively, you`re thinking that the universe will turn in your favour, seeing yourself lean, healthy, your confidence is restored and all of your friends complimenting you...but you look at your life and you`re still eating fries, hamburgers, cookies, partying like crazy, not doing any kind of exercise and spending most of your free time watching TV... is your thinking got you anywhere? "Stay positive, just visualize it and everything is gonna be fine!" Right, unless you take any action, thinking about it won`t fix the problem... this is such a scam. We live in an era where people are lazier than ever before, the human being by nature responds better to the quick fix or relief and most people still think that they`re gonna reach their goals in life with little or no effort and by the way most of them don`t even have goals, but the truth is that most of the times our goals require 10 times more effort to be achieved than we initially thought.

Following my previous article, about the 4 levels of action, most people, today, operate on the "do nothing" and "retreat" levels and expect the same results as those who take massive action on anything they throw themselves at, and let me tell you, nothing in life worth of value comes from little or no effort... ...visualizing is not enough, committing first and figuring out later is the only way for the average person to get extraordinary results. Thanks for reading! :)
