WHAT WOULD I DO AS BALENCIAGA ABSTRACT In this report, I have analysed the Paris based, luxury brand, Balenciaga. In order to gain a comprehensive understanding of their brand philosophy and the strategies to capture the market and gain visibility. I have closely researched their brand ethos, iconic design traits, stockists, competitive environment and brand equity which is an indicator of the reputation they currently have with their potential customers. As a result, I have produced a proposition for Balenciaga based on the life span of the Brand’s individual commitment.

moodboard The inspiration for the SS 19 comes from Aircrafts, Pilots and Aviation equipments during the second world war. The person who is most well-suited for the concept is Charles Lindenberg, the principal man to cross the Atlantic Ocean flying solo from New York to Paris in May of 1927 out of an exceptionally constructed monoplane. The generally well-known Bomber coat additionally has its underlying foundations of Aviation wear.

moodboard This collection is inspired by an outcasted wheat cultivate. A homestead with a surrendered field, structures, fences, etc which is imperatively reflected in the colour story. The Subject is deciphered through intense and straight outlines. The resulting collection is light streetwear with blasting and fresh outlines explicitly motivated by a thought of something, not over the top.

The Roman Drapes
History of Fashion & Design
The Roman Drapes ABSTRACT The idea of the collection is identified with the attire amid the Roman empire, here, it especially revolves around the drapes which are the centre of Roman fashion. Creases, tucks and pleats have been the establishment of the collection. I’ve firmly observed and assessed the technical and design elements of garments from that era and gave everything a new 21st-century look. Combining Roman drapes with the commonplace outlines like T-shirts, shirts, and so on. The result is a Streetwear collection, which is rich and dazzling.

Design Internship
Gaurav Gupta Studio ABSTRACT Amid my first year in NIFT, Delhi I completed an extraordinary amount of advance work in Photoshop and Illustrator which later landed me an Internship with a world-class Indian fashion designer Gaurav Gupta, a CSM graduate. Creating a different design with several elements combined has been the driving factor behind the work I did at the studio. Amid my entry-level position, I got a brilliant chance to take a shot at intriguing activities, which were in every case intently guided by my senior partners. Teamwork, Interpersonal skills and Work Ethics were the significant aptitudes I got from my involvement in the studio.
the elephant project Selected Indian designers got an opportunity do their part for the Elephant Family (small dynamic NGO on a mission to save the forgotten species from extinction), an elephant sculpture designed by them which was then to be sold at an auction to fetch donation for the cause.
concept & design Ethnic themes melded with present-day structures have been related with the designer as far back as his invasion into the fashion business. I took different themes utilized in his couture collections and investigated different methods for assembling them in a durable and exquisite way.

The undertaking was one of my projects at Central Saint Martin. A superior comprehension of formats, designs, pictures and altering was accomplished while dealing with this task.
Self designed cover and graphics, appealing layouting of text throughout the book, self binded project.

Handmade packaging, pure wool handkercheifs, self designed branding.
