The S8 Batch (2022) in the Urban Design Studio of Marian College of Architecture and Planning, Trivandrum conducted a study of the Edayar Islands in Trivandrum, located near Thiruvallom, in an urban setting, assessing its image, open spaces, and people. Data was analyzed to draw conclusions about the area's morphology, ecology, and activity, which were then expressed in a detailed manner that outlines the narrative of the region.
The study was done as part of the design studio project "Redevelopment of Parvathy Puthanar & the Urban Coalesce". The study focuses on studying the impacts of and on Parvathy Puthanar and the regions that are most suitable for development.
