Hello! I’m a young designer who learns fast and designs passionately. I’m in my second year of college and I am continuously excited about finding new forms of self-expression and experimenting with mediums. I draw in my free time, binge eat desserts and try my best to stay hyderated.

Tissue Issues Pachadi, Chutney Aur Aachar Boondh For The People Printers Mark Self Portraits Typography Patrika Illustrations

01 Tissue Issues

Tissue Issues isn’t just any normal tissue box, selling you the richness, and the softness of the tissue paper, Tissue Issues provides you with the comfort you need during the worst times in your life. Its not about the paper, its about you. For when you get fired, or go through a rough break up, Tissue Issues is a tissue box that would provide you with all the comfort of a real friend.

02 Pachadi, Chutney Aur Achar Ranging from spicy to sweet, Indian pickles and chutneys are the perfect accompaniment to a main dish. Pachadi, Chutney Aur Achar is an illustrated recipie book of these side-dishes mastered by my grandma over the years. While illustrating, I experimented with discovering different angles of the ingredients involved. I establishing movement in the illustrations by depicted processes in the recipies in a dynamic exploded way, since it reminded me of slow motion shots of food shown on television shows.

03 Boondh Restaurants use an average of 2000 - 20,000 litres of water every day. They are a vital part of society who manage water in bulk quantities. Therefore, introducing them to smart ways of conserving water, would help businesses set bench marks and goals in water conservation. Simply identifying areas that run water unnecessarily and instructing employees to use

water more wisely will create measurable results. These easy solutions can drastically increase water conservation and build a more sustainable future for both the restaurant and the society. This campaign targets both restaurant staff and customers urging them to think about the ongoing water crisis, and actively take part in it.

Postcards for Customers Distributing these postcards which have a single news headline regarding extreme issues with water some people experience, can show the impact a small action like fixing a leaking tap can make. They can be given out at the cash counters, and help restaurants earn points for being eco-friendly.

Posters for the Staff The posters provide the restaurants with quick and easy methods of water conservation that are costeffective and not time consuming, reminding the staff to take these measures and hence, contribute to saving water.

04 For The People A fun game for aspiring designers. The game involves designing solutions for quirky characters with odd problems. Through the game, players will need to use teamwork, ideation and out-of the box thinking while creating solutions for oddball clients (often hypothetical such as witches and vampires). The game is mostly conceptual but can also involve physical prototyping of solutions. The aim of the game is to introduce these young designers to the ‘real design world ’ which is far from stereotypical aesthetic pleasures.

05

Printers Mark A printer’s mark was a symbol used as a trademark by early printers. It described the printer, and is usually quite personal. This printers mark was engraved on linotype sheet and further printed with oil paint on canson sheet.

06 Portraits A series of portraits exploring mediums and moods.

The Period Project A group photography based project adressing the taboos associates to menstruation. “ Menstruation is the only blood not born out of violence, and yet it’s the one that disgusts you the most ” Anonymous

10 Upcycled Memories Upcycling is increasing the value of an object that is deemed to be invaluable. Gifting is the act of giving without expecting something in return. This is a statement on how upcycled memories can prove to be great gifts. Using materials the person has preously interacted with would personalise it further. Hence, I decided to put the teabags they use everyday morning to use. The final gift is a wall hanging consisting personalised tea-bags, with every teabag depicting a certan memory. Now, the coca-cola wrapper is not just a wrapper, but holds emotional value.

11

Unworldly, Unearthly A series of photomontages depicting natural landscapes and elements accompanied by colours you don’t usually associate with them - pink mountains, green desserts, yellow waterfalls.

12 Kabir’s Dohe Kabir talks of the nature of seeking in a number of his dohe. Kabir’s view on seeking the unknown and finding what we seek was very contemporary in its own. While religions of that time promoted devoting yourself to one god in all ways possible including traditions and unnecessary rituals, Kabir talks of seeking our inner selves. He talks of how what we seek has been in us this whole time.

Look at you, you madman! Screaming you are thirsty and dying in a desert, when all around you there is nothing but water!

13 Hike Redesign

13 A project with Rahi Kulkarni (Srishti Batch 2020)

Redesgning Hike

Hike is an instant messaging application, based largely in India. With its customer base as Indian youngsters in the age group 15-25, Hike has come up with use cases as varied as its privacy features, content, gaming and messaging on pre paid internet packs. It also offers curated content and gaming services differentiating itself

from platforms like WhatsApp. In the existing interface, these features are disarranged in User Profile page (Me) which confuses the user, about what exactly the page performs. By redesigning this page, we wanted to see whether the user can use these functions efficiently.
