■ ART IN THE PARK Ages 5-10 Let’s meet, make friends, and gain inspiration in the park around us. Each week we will focus on our environment, learn some fun facts, and create a craft inspired by the park. Please note this is a drop off program and does not require a parent participation. ■ DISCOVER ORIENTEERING Orienteering is an outdoor sport suitable for all ages and fitness levels; basically, it’s a scavenger hunt in which you use a detailed map to find checkpoints that have been placed at locations marked on the map. For this course we’ll start by covering some basic navigating skills (reading a map, using a compass, etc.) and then dive right into the fun with a beginner course set up around Silver Lake Regional Park.
