DeAndrai’ Pervis I love painting with pink and red because they are happy colors and very easy to look at. When I first started back in 2015 I used to paint realism. Then over time I switched to cartoon style because it fits my personality more I’m not a serious dude. I noticed that people find it easier to like cartoons and bright colors.

KETUTHEARTIST is a multidisciplinary artist and designer living in Los Angeles. One of the projects he is currently working on is a digitally painted portrait book filled with the people he knows personally and inspires him. Each portrait will have a short bio that will describe who that person is and what they do. It is meant to serve as a way to uplift the people around him. He likes to capture the person with vibrant colors and shapes throughout the portraits. He also uses music to capture the mood of the painting in the post production process when making the time-lapse video.

My name is one 1morning a.k.a. Rhude Bwoy I’m a freelance DJ/producer from LA. I’ve always had an ear for music and I have mad love for the underground, which is why I started creating music. I got tired of everything that was going on in the main stream. I mainly make music for myself and I occasionally put stuff up that people can listen to. I’m constantly learning and trying new things because I feel like I’m not at a point yet where many people will be able to grasp the sound that I use. I DJ a lot of underground house music specifically deep house. I live on YouTube digging for samples and constantly
creating new playlist that fit the vibes of each set I play. I produce mainly trap rap but the conventional sound has changed so much in the underground it’s hard to put a label on the kind of beats I make but most would call it trap I guess. Despite my focus in trap, I look to other genres like Bossa Nova, Jazz, Alternative Rock, and Funk for inspiration. I work with a collective of underground artist and designers because it’s best surrounding yourself around people who inspire you be creative and push your boundaries but also help me think practically.

SHRIMP TACOS! Los Angeles Native Kiara Walker aka Chef Walker or Kiki, has been cooking in her grandmothers kitchen since the age of adolescent. Her grandma thought it was a way to keep her interested in something rather than running the streets with her brother and boy cousins or crushing on the boys in the neighborhood. Although she grew up washing greens and prepping mac and cheese, Kiara was heavily influenced by the Mexican culture in her city of Los Angeles. Kiara attended school at Art Institute Of Los Angeles and took up culinary, and studied international cuisine. Fast forward to Summer 2019, She is finally getting to follow her dreams and start running her own food truck. Kiara has catered many private events for family and friends and small events for colleagues and is finally sharing it with the world!
