CHANGING THE WORLD
TOGETHER
As a leading girls’ school in Australia, we have the privilege of watching our students go on to change the world as influential and compassionate young women.
Since 1916, each student has benefitted from the generosity of those who came before them. Today, the Pymble Foundation is led by strong governance and vision and a desire to support the College in all future plans.
We invite the Pymble community to learn more about the Foundation and partner with us to change the world together.
The Pymble Foundation
The Pymble community has assisted in elevating Pymble Ladies’ College to one of Australia’s most influential and innovative girls’ schools.
With the dedication of our staff, parents and friends of Pymble –combined with the unwavering support from generations of our Alumni – we have accomplished excellence in education, remarkable teaching and learning facilities and opportunities to inspire our students to change the world for the better.
The Pymble Foundation leads philanthropic engagement across our community. This philanthropy benefits current and future generations of Pymble girls by funding buildings and facilities, scholarships, bursaries (means-tested scholarships) and other programs. It also enables the College to remain a world leader in educating girls and young women.

The Foundation is an opportunity for all in our community to play a vital role in Pymble’s future and make a real difference for future generations.
Our deep sense of responsibility as a community is one of our biggest assets, and we are immensely grateful for any help extended to us.
Why support the Pymble Foundation?
The annual operations of the school are funded by tuition fees and government grants. However, these do not provide the capital needed to shape the future of Pymble at the rate of change necessary in today’s world. Your support will enable us to:
Invest in the construction of first-class facilities.
Provide programs that make it possible for our students and staff to achieve their best.
Support scholarships and bursaries (means-tested scholarships) to bring much-valued diversity to our community.

Ways you can support us
We greatly appreciate the generous gifts from our community and acknowledge that every contribution is vital to the future of both our College and students. There are a variety of ways you can consider directing your support.
Gifts to our Building Fund are eligible for tax deductions and contribute to our master planning projects, which aim to provide exceptional educational and co-curricular facilities, foster inspirational teaching and learning and promote our students’ holistic development in every aspect of their lives.
Gifts to our Scholarship Fund are tax deductible and will support our Indigenous Scholarship Program or Bursary Fund (means-tested scholarships). These programs offer life-changing opportunities to students who would otherwise be unable to attend the College.
A gift in your will leaves a lasting benefit for the next generation of Pymble students.
If you would like to talk with us about supporting the Pymble Foundation please contact Kelly Mancey, our Director - Community Engagement and Advancement, on + 61 2 9855 7717 or at kmancey@pymblelc.nsw.edu.au.
Support of the College represents not only confidence in our current programs, but a belief in a collective future in which our girls and Alumni contribute to and succeed in changing the world, for the better.
Leading the Pymble Foundation with strong governance
The establishment of our Foundation and Board in November 2022 is the result of extensive research and work to ensure the College has the right governance, skills and oversight to lead and manage philanthropy among the Pymble community. At the core of our philanthropic aspirations lies our College vision and mission for our students, which is supported by our Strategic Direction 2021-2030: Watch Us Change the World.
Our highly experienced Pymble Foundation Board is led by Chair, Simon Rothery and Deputy Chair, Rebecca Sullivan. Board members include David Burns, Melinda Graham, James Hunter, Li-Enn Koo, Yehan Koo, Alison Rothery and Jessica Shirvington.
Together, the team brings many decades of expertise in financial governance, business, philanthropy and nurturing strong community relationships. Our Foundation Board members are also personally connected to the College as alumni or through their daughters and are excited by the opportunity to build a successful donor program that will contribute to the continued delivery of an exceptional educational experience at Pymble.
People, Places and Programs
The Pymble Foundation Board will focus on investment in the people, places and programs that will assist our students in their journey to become compassionate and influential young women who have the hearts, minds and skillset to make the world a better place.
This includes new facilities and learning spaces on our two campuses, as well as means-tested bursaries, which will enable current families and generations of past Alumni from our generous Pymble community to continue to give back to students who deserve, but may not be able to access, a world-class, life-changing education.
It was with great pride that we welcomed our first Foundation Bursary recipient to Pymble in 2023. The student comes to us from the Ukraine, having been displaced when the war began in 2022.
The Foundation carefully oversees and manages all donations to fundraising so that amounts received are directed to derive maximum benefit for the students and their educational experience. All funds donated through the Foundation are recorded in accounts established for the specific area of interest indicated by the donor.
Your generosity is deeply appreciated and we will keep you informed about the positive impact of your giving. By supporting the Pymble Foundation, you are partnering with us to build a brighter future in which our College continues to educate and empower our girls and Alumni to work together to make a difference for all.
Thank you for considering supporting the Pymble Foundation. Your trust in our vision to shape the future of learning at Pymble and change the world together is deeply appreciated. For more information, please contact us at foundation@pymblelc.nsw.edu.au.
