Albert Cyprys - Up to the Challenge An accounting major at Fairfield University, Albert Cyprys is confident that the experiences at school are teaching him the qualities required to succeed in the business world. To his peers, Albert is known to be a hardworking, analytical student that is committed to succeeding and will not shy from facing any challenge placed before him.

Since choosing to pursue accounting, Albert Cyprys is learning that the coursework is providing the knowledge that will be easily transferrable in a work environment. Through his degree, he knows the path to becoming a professional accountant will be much easier. However, he acknowledges the growing competition in the job market, and is thus taking the steps to stand out from what might be a crowded field.

To that end, Albert Cyprys is a 3-year member of the school’s Accounting club, which provides opportunities for members to interact with professional accountants and firms through tours and talks. For young students like Albert, such opportunities provide an excellent means to learn from the professionals and pick up knowledge not found in coursework material. Additionally, he is also a member of Beta Alpha Psi, a honorary academic organization that recognizes academic excellence and provides learning opportunities similar to the Accounting club.

For Albert Cyprys, success, whether in class or at work, begins with good preparation. When you take the time to plan your objectives and the activities you need to perform to achieve them, you are in a better position to do so. He is committed to academic excellence, thus takes the time to prepare for every class.
