Amish Purohit: Successful Health Care Professional and Executive Amish Purohit has achieved a great deal of success in all aspects of the health care industry due to his commendable worth ethic and dedication to the people he serves.

Not only did he achieve a great deal of success as an executive in the health care industry, but Amish Purohit also excelled in the medical field as well. Most professionals in health care typically have a solid background in either medicine or business, but he has a solid background in both. Not only does he have a Bachelor of Science degree in public administration and Master’s degree in health administration, but he also has a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Saba University School of Medicine, which he received in 2003.

Amish Purohit has experience working as a family physician and orthopedist for which he was named as one of America’s Top Doctors for the years of 2007 and 2014. As a physician for Maricopa Health Center he was the sole provider responsible for providing primary care services, and he built a complete outpatient medical practice while instituting an electronic health record.

Amish Purohit also served in the United States Air Force training medical staff and ensured the well being of others by developing and maintaining an efficient emergency medical response plan. For his active duty service in the United States Air Force, he was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal in 1998, and the Air Force Achievement Medal in 1996.

Amish Purohit has displayed exemplary leadership in his position as the Chief Medical Officer for Arizona Priority Care Plus. As the Chief Medical Officer, he is responsible for case management, disease management, network development and expansion, providing overall strategic physician leadership for corporate health care management, the strategy and operations for more than 100 clinical and administrative staff members, and many other duties as well.

Before becoming the Chief Medical Office for Arizona Priority Care Plus, Amish Purohit served in many other high ranking positions as well. He was the President and Chief Executive Officer for Gila River Healthcare Corporation, the Primary Care Department and Service Line Medical Director for Gila River Healthcare Corporation, and a practicing Orthopedic and Family Medicine physician. He is dedicated to serving those in need whether it be through a large company or directly under his care. He is devoted to the people that need medical help, and he will continue to do everything in his power give said people the help they need.
