Donovan Browning: Providing Great Treatment Donovan Browning does everything he can do to make sure each patient who visits his dentist office in Auburn, California has a healthy and relaxing experience.

He knows that this is critical to the ongoing care of every patient he sees. Too many Americans, Donovan Browning says, would rather skip a visit to the dentist's office because they fear the experience will be painful or unpleasant. He also says that when a patient has a pleasant visit, and has confidence in the dentist, they are likely to keep coming back. "We help people who are anxious and nervous by using oral sedation medications so people are relaxed and don't remember the appointment. It's great for people with high dental anxiety."

The goal of his practice, Donovan Browning says, is to give all of their patients the great treatment they deserve. That is something that usually works both ways, because he has consistently been rewarded by patients who come back again and again. "We love long-lasting relationships," Donovan Browning says. "We genuinely care about our patients, [and] we have a fun and friendly atmosphere in the office."

A good dentist, says Donovan Browning, is one who keeps the patient in the loop. He or she will educate the patient about proper dental care, as well as on the treatments that he or she is recommending. And like Donovan Browning, they will encourage each patient to develop good dental care habits.

Donovan Browning also says that a good dentist has a great deal of knowledge about teeth and oral care at his or her fingertips. They can identify problems quickly, and at the same time have the most effective treatments.

Another good trait in a dentist is continuing his or her education in the field, and this is something that Donovan Browning has always made a point of doing. "I have taken continuing education classes at the Kois Center in Seattle on complex restorative procedures," he says. "I've also taken classes on implant surgery, Invisalign, oral sedation, and classes on dental lasers."

Throughout his career, Donovan Browning has made a point of being an active and contributing member of his community. He is involved with the Boy Scouts of American through his son's troop, and is also very involved in his church – "So much so," he says, "that I lived in Mexico for a couple years when I was younger on a service mission."
