Gene Sommariva: Serving The Medical Community with Pride Gene Sommariva has spent much of his career accomplishing a wide array of milestones and setting the bar high for others in his field. During his nearly ten year career, he has quickly grown to become a powerful and driving force within his company. He has set standards high in regards to setting expectations, and being a role model for other members of the sale steam. As Senior Salesman, Gene Sommariva has represented and sold products, including Tiazac; Benicar; Lexapro; Celexa; Daliresp; Tudorza; Aerobid; Namenda; Bystolic and Namenda XR. He works servicing many areas of health, which include primary care, psychiatry, pulmonary specialists, neurologists, cardiologists, and others in health care facilities. He also as formed close relationships with Managed Care managers, and presented to Managed Care facilities around the country. Gene Sommariva's career is marked by a long list of achievements. He has represented the companies he works for at countless conferences and conventions, achieved 107% sales percentage for Daliresp; 103% for Bystolic; 135% for Tudorza; and 108% for Namenda XR. In 2014, he was ranked #1 in the nation for President’s Club. In the same year he came in as the top District Sales Representative Q1 & Q2, and Regional Representative of the Quarter: Q1 & Q2. Gene Sommariva also Ranked #1 nationally for Bystolic, achieving a formulary status for Tudorza at Danbury Hospital, one of the most difficult feats to accomplish in the industry. His countless accomplishments and awards in the industry have led him to rise through the ranks within each company he has worked. Presently, he holds a managerial position, where he uses his own set of leadership skills to mold and promote the next group of salesman into the industry.
At Gene Sommariva's current position, he is in charge of the promotion and sales of a large portfolio of products. He must rep these products to the various hospitals, clinics, physicians and other specialized healthcare providers in the area. His duties are vast, and include managing the existing accounts within his territory, as well as cultivating and building relationships with new physicians and health care providers. As a lead member within the company’s sales team, he works hand in hand with the DM, RAM, district team members and other groups both internal and external, to reach district and corporate objectives monthly. Gene Sommariva is a firm believer in teamwork and has built a solid framework within his sales team. He feels that it's important for each member of the team to have the same objectives and goals.
