Feeling the need to go to Chicago, Gray and his church group went to provide spiritual reestablishment and give help to those who needed it. Back when Hurricane Katrina his Louisiana, Sam Gray of Boulder, CO and the church missions team also went there. Gray poured his time and resources to the people of Louisiana, dedicating himself to all the people he could possibly help. The man with a heart of gold made a huge impact and not only restored people’s faith in God, but restored their faith in humanity.

After gaining an education Sam Gray of Boulder, CO realized there are more opportunities to help other people in the world. Earning a degree in both Economics and International Affairs the University of Colorado in Boulder graduate expanded his worldview. Looking for a way to continue to serve people in different and needy communities, Gray found the Peace Corps. The Peace Corps is an organization that focuses on helping communities and providing aid in order to make the world a happier, better and healthier place to live for everyone. Excited for the opportunity to travel yet also make an impact in the place he would be traveling to, Sam Gray of Boulder, CO volunteered with the Peace Corps for two years.
