In 2005, Ian Oliver Mausner went through a divorce, and his career path shifted slightly. After experiencing a divorce and going through the process of reentering the dating world, he decided to start a company that could help others who were in the same situation. In January of 2005, he founded and then became the president and CEO of True Romance Publishing and Relationship Consulting LLC. Mausner used his experiences to write articles and provide advice on the divorce process.
