Joby Schraier’s Favorite Rides Joby Schraier has traveled all over the continental United States, and driving from place to place has been a big portion of his job over the past decade. As someone who spends so much time driving from place to place, he has developed a taste for particular cars, and a distaste for others. And if you ask him, it is all about American ingenuity, and it is displayed in a number of vehicles that he prefers.

Below, he shares some of his favorites, and the backstory behind them.

Corvettes Corvettes are Joby Schraier’s favorite performance sports car. Their speed, torque and overall performance are at the top of its class on a regular fashion. He drove a convertible model up the California coast, along the Pacific Coast Highway. He was top down in the lower half, enjoying the dry climate of the southern pat of the state. But once he hit San Francisco, he was happy to put the top back up.

Dodge Rams As far as pickup trucks go, Joby Schraier’s favorite is the Dodge Ram by far. He loves the models with diesel engines because it seems as if they could run forever. He took a Dodge Ram diesel on a trip through Alabama, where he loaded his flatbed with fishing rods and camping gear and had all the elements for a great trip.

Jeep Wranglers When it comes to all-terrain vehicles, Jeep Wranglers are Joby Schraier’s ultimate toy. Their versatility and ability to go where other vehicles can’t makes them a tool for exploration, which is what Joby is all about. He has taken Jeep Wranglers on all sorts of terrain. He has taken them on the sand dunes of Hatteras, North Carolina. He has taken them up rocks on Moab and cut through rivers in Colorado.

Cadillacs When Joby Schraier wants to go on a comfortable ride, Cadillacs are his vehicle of choice. He likes the classic versions; however the XLR is a great sporty hybrid that brings both comfort s well as the speed of a Corvette engine.

Ford Mustangs Joby Schraier believes that Ford Mustangs are the true classic American muscle car; and he has enjoyed watching the evolution of this widely regarded vehicle .Their performance and torque live up to their namesake; and he drove a Mustang through Texas and New Orleans as he met with consulting clients across the southern United States.
