John Church, former Vice President of JMI - A Formidable Force in the Sports Sponsorship Industry John Church, the former Vice President of JMI, left the company in 2010 with a strong presence in the sports marketing industry. With over twenty years in the business, Church has a thorough knowledge of the marketing industry with a specialty in sports sponsorships. After leaving JMI, Church went on to further his career in sponsorship development which led to a Corporate Vice President position in partnership development with Freedom Communications Incorporated. In 2014 Church left Freedom Communications and founded his own company, South Coast Partnerships, Incorporated where he serves as President and Commercial Director of his primary client MotoAmerica. Church has a long history of success at developing and growing sponsorships and sports marketing businesses from start-up companies to profitable maturity. With a degree from Arizona State University majoring in Finance, he has a strong foundation in the nuances of business, and understands the specific needs of each company with which he works. This understanding allows him to create profitable sponsorships relationships for all parties involved. As Commercial Director with MotoAmerica, John Church JMI is responsible for sponsorship relations and creating profitable sponsorship partnerships with numerous companies related to the motorcycle racing industry such as: Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, Geico Motorcycle, Dunlop, and Cortech. Church works tirelessly to provide stellar results for his clients in creating symbiotic, longterm relationships. He has been a part of the IEG Sponsorship community for over seven years and believes in growing the industry through sharing experience with the newest generation of sports marketers. With great love for sports in general, and a specific passion for cars, motorcycles, and racing, Church recognizes that he is living his dream working for himself as a Sports Sponsorship Executive. He strives to be the best the sports marketing industry has to offer and enjoys his work representing an impressive clientele. John Church JMI not only has a strong presence in the sports marketing industry, he also works to improve his community through volunteerism and educational resources for wildlife and ocean conservation efforts. He believes in making an impact in whatever he does and works to better himself and those around him, whether it be through creating profitable business relationships or community projects. In his free time, he enjoys volunteering and spending time with his family in his hometown of Laguna Beach, California. He, along with his wife Trisha, enjoy frequenting locally owned restaurants and spending time with his three beautiful daughters: Grace, Anne, and Caroline. Church believes he is blessed with a loving family and the opportunity to spend his life's work in an industry that he holds a deep passion and interest.
