John Church of Just Marketing - The Man Arizona born and raised, John Church of Just Marketing has been a force in the sports marketing industry. Ever since his first job in the field through Phoenix Professional Baseball, his career has skyrocketed and shows no signs of slowing down any time soon. He has held many senior executive positions in various companies, but by far the most notable achievement was his tenure at Just Marketing Inc. (JMI). When John Church of Just Marketing joined JMI in 2001 as their Vice President of Sports Marketing, it was a small agency with six employees and $2 million in revenue. After three years in that position, he was promoted to Senior Vice President of Business Development. His personal development seemed to be tied to the development of the company because as the company grew, so did he. Just a year after, he was promoted yet again to Chief Development Officer. By the end of his tenure Church’s position was Executive Vice President of Partnership Development, the company had increased to a staff of 140 with revenue in excess of $80 million. The John Church of Just Marketing Just Marketing duo is one to admire. Just as much as Church benefited the company, he benefited from the company as well. Church is known for his altruistic nature, and his heart for the environment. He is a part of the Laguna Ocean Foundation as well as the Save the Whales movement, which seeks to preserve the world’s whale population. He is a strong advocate for this movement because he understands that whales play an important role in our understanding of marine mammals. The group actively campaigns against whaling and shares that no single action on their part is going to ensure the safety of the whales for all time. This is why it is important to educate future generations. John Church of Just Marketing is also an advocate for the care and protection against destruction of our wildlife. He supports the Laguna Beach Ocean Foundation, which is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organisation that serves to protect the coastal preserve along Laguna Beach. Church, as a member of Defenders of Wildlife, believes that he is a wildlife guardian helping to protect wild animals in their natural habitat. He lives this belief through his voluntary work with the Foundation. He was trained by the Foundation in the TideWater Docent program to provide education at local intertidal areas, which are those parts of the coastline that are alternately covered by the changing tides. Church is very active. He enjoys swimming, cross-fit, kick-boxing and yoga. He enjoys yoga immensely and he is intrigued by studies that show that practicing yoga can boost the body’s immunity. Church lives in Laguna Beach California, South of Los Angeles in Orange County, with his wife and three daughters. He is a family man and though he would appreciate more time with his family he is noted to have said that it is the quality of time spent with his family that really counts, though quantity is wonderful as well.He often spends family time playing board games with the children and having conversations with the family at dinner. He doesn’t want to miss a beat when it comes to his daughter’s growth and tries to spend as much time as he is able with them.
