Judd Lesser - Sharing His Dental Knowledge
Judd Lesser has been running his private dental practice in Hewlett, New York for more than 20 – years. He is highly skilled and experienced in the practice of general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. Judd grew up in the Midwest and moved to New York in the 1980s in order to attend college and dental school. When he first arrived in New York, he enrolled at Yeshiva University where he earned his Bachelors of Arts degree in 1984. Shortly after graduating, Judd made the decision to attend dental school and enrolled at the NYU College of Dentistry. During his time at NYU’s College of Dentistry, Judd Lesser focused his education on Oral Histology and Gross Anatomy. Judd studied hard and became a tutor to help his fellow classmates master the same subjects he was studying. In 1991, Judd completed his education and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Making the decision to remain in New York, Judd opened a private practice specializing in general, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. Located in Hewlett, New York, Judd’s practice has been helping the community maintain good dental hygiene. During the beginning of his career, Judd Lesser made it a point to share his dental knowledge with those around him. Like his time at NYU, Judd wanted to share what he knew in order to help other dentists provide the best care possible for their patients. In 1991, Judd began participating in lectures given at dental meetings across the state. He presented research on Scleroderma and Its Oral Manifestations at the Greater New York Dental Meeting, gave an overview of Implant Dentistry at the Albany Medical Center Department of Dentistry, and gave an interview on Halitosis Treatments at the Schenectady Gazette. Although Judd Lesser no longer lectures at dental meetings, he is still determined to impart his knowledge on the general public. Recently, Judd has appeared on a number of local television stations and radio shows in order to help the general public understand the importance of the dental industry. During his numerous appearances, Judd has discussed the issue of halitosis, what air abrasion dentistry is and what the benefits are of this alternate form of treatment, and the topics of teeth whitening and bleaching. In order for Judd to stay up on the latest procedures and techniques in general dentistry, he attends numerous continuing education courses and plans on sharing what he learns with those around him.
