Julie Tishkoff - Looking forward to a Strong Defense for the 49ers in 2015 In a city with thousands of people, many are brought together over one sports team: the 49ers. This beloved team is a part of the National Football Conference West of the National Football League. After a less than thrilling season in the new Levi Stadium, the San Francisco 49ers looked to the offseason to retool their team and find their place again among the NFL’s elite. With a strong fan base by their side, their great and loyal fans constantly cheer the 49ers on towards victory. One of the ways that the San Francisco 49ers look to return to their glory days of old and show appreciation to their fans for their loyalty is through defense. On the defensive side of the ball, the 49ers look to establish a newer, stronger, faster, and better defensive than they’ve had in previous seasons. During the off season, the 49ers saw two of their best walk out the door in Perrish Cox and Chris Culliver. On top of losing these players to the free agency, two more impact players, Chris Borland and Patrick Willis, left an open space when they decided to retire their careers. These open spots on the team will test the will of the 49ers and the newcomers that join the team. Dedicated fans believe that new acquisitions will set up and provide the need that the 49ers have. Though losing those dynamic players is an absolute devastation to the team and the fans, the team looks forward to their young players stepping up and making the plays they need to get on top once again. The 49ers have nothing easy ahead of them. Playing in what is considered by many to be the toughest division in the league, the 49ers will have a hard road ahead of them, a road that their fans believe is conquerable. Julie Tishkoff is a native of San Francisco. The avid sports water and fan of all the sports of San Francisco, Tishkoff believed that this next year will be a breakout year for many of the younger players on the team. Julie Tishkoff says that with players like Tramaine Brock, Jimmie Ward, and Dante Johnson on the team, there is definitely some great football to look forward to watching. Always cheering for her home team, Julie Tishkoff is optimistic about the changes to her favorite football team. Along with the rest of the fans that are in San Francisco and around the world, Julie Tishkoff awaits for opening kickoff this fall season and for her 49ers to regain their status amongst the NFL’s elite.
