He pursued and received an undergraduate education at Columbia University in the City of New York, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia in 1983. He continued his education at the acclaimed Harvard Law School, where he pursued and received his Doctor of Law degree (Juris Doctorate) in 1986.

He recently attended his 25th Harvard Law School reunion where his classmate Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan spoke.

A considerable talent and expert in the sport, seasoned juggler Roy Pomerantz once considered pursuing the act as a career, and was once even invited to study alongside other juggling greats at the New York School for Circus Arts.

Pomerantz’s passion for the sport of juggling is well-known, and has been a crucial, even indispensable part of his life, from the age of fourteen. Since stumbling across Carlo’s Book of Juggling as a teenager, Roy Pomerantz has found a form of creative expression that continues to provide him considerable reward and fulfillment to this day. A lifetime member of the International Juggling Association, Pomerantz has even discovered a way to infuse his passion for juggling into his work, putting on an act that allows him to entertain as well as promote Baby King products and accessories to potential customers.
