Steven J. Dick MD: Well-Rounded Individual Steven J Dick MD is a highly skilled neurological doctor with over thirty years of experience in his field. At the peak of his career in practicing neurological medicine on patients, he worked as the Neurologist in Chief at the Lurleen B. Wallace Developmental Center in Decatur, Alabama. His duties included managing all neurological disorders; most specifically, seizure disorders of multiple types and hospital admissions for over 300 severely brain-injured patients. He then became a neurological consultant and created guidelines for fellow practitioners for when they are treating patients. While working at Alabama Medicine and Rheumatology, LLC and Millar Multimedical, he offered assistance for designing standardized guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of neurological illnesses. Dr. Dick has also consulted at John H. Wagner III MD Long Term Physician Services, installing similar medical protocols as described and additionally extending these algorithms to assess the efficiency of both medical and nonmedical staff by tracking the supply chain for all goods and services in the nursing homes, convalescent homes, skilled nursing facilities, and intermediate care facilities thereby increasing quality of care, efficiency and profit. Dr. Dick also worked as a mediator on a TV show called “Medline” where he made thirty minute appearances every Saturday, interviewing some of the most esteemed medical professionals in AL/TN region. He often spoke with local professors on current medical issues and how they were being addressed. Dr. Dick worked on the show for over five years. Steven J. Dick MD is American Board of Neurology Board Eligible and is certified with the American Society of Neuroimaging. He has a Neurovascular Certification in Transcranial Doppler and Carotid Ultrasound, CT Scans and MRI’S of the Brain and Spine. Dr. Dick also has professional affiliations with the American Academy of Neurology, American Society of Neuroimaging, National Stroke Association, American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and the American Association of Pain Management.
