The best part of any journey is the experiences you have along the way, leaving you with memories to relive long after the holiday is over. Hong Kong has countless amazing things to see and do. Here are 10 of our favourites to inspire your wanderlust.

Victoria Harbour
FESTIVALS & EVENTS
VICTORIA HARBOUR
Hong Kong hosts an impressive array of festivals and events throughout the year. The biggest and most colourful celebration is Chinese New Year. Watch the captivating Lion and Dragon dances, a dazzling display of acrobatics and rhythmic drumming. These dances are performed to ward off evil spirits and bring good luck and fortune. Hong Kong is illuminated during February’s Spring Lantern Festival with hundreds of lanterns hung in parks, flower markets and restaurants. Watch the elaborately designed boats in the Shing Mun River during the Dragon Boat Festival held in June.
Victoria Harbour is considered the heart of Hong Kong, and a cruise is the best way to discover this bustling harbour. Hop on board a guided harbour cruise or for something different sail on a red-sailed Chinese Junk Boat. For uninterrupted views of the harbour and Hong Kong’s impressive skyline take a walk along the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade. At night the harbour comes alive in spectacular fashion with the Symphony of Lights show. Be dazzled by coloured lights, laser beams and searchlights that work in harmony to the Hong Kong Philharmonic orchestra.
Blue House, Wan Chai
LIVELY NEIGHBOURHOODS Uncover Hong Kong’s vibrant neighbourhoods and gain an insight into the city’s cultural heritage. Old Town Central is known for its world class art exhibitions, experimental stage performances and edgy street art. Set out on foot and explore the Wan Chai Heritage Trail and see the historic Blue House, one of Hong Kong’s few remaining old-style tenement buildings. Wander the streets and alleyways of Sheung Wan, where a mix of historical sites, restaurants and markets sit side by side. For vibrant street markets and themed cafés, you can’t go past the colourful neighbourhood of Mong Kok.

THE PEAK
Nestled among the neon lit streets and soaring skyscrapers you will find intricate temples and colourful shrines. VICTORIA HARBOUR
Kowloon is a bustling mixture of shops, fantastic bars, pubs, restaurants, gardens and markets. Be tempted by the Temple Street Night Market and wander along Nathan Road for its vast range of shopping. Walk along Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade and stop at one of the many museums along the way.
Victoria Harbour is a natural harbour separating Hong Kong Island in the south from the Kowloon Peninsula to the north. The best harbour sights can be seen from the water on a Star Ferry ride from either Wan Chai or Central. Take in the hustle and bustle of the harbour from Central Pier. For breathtaking harbour vistas head to Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade. Every night the harbour dazzles with the ‘A Symphony of Lights’ neon light show synchronised to music.

The prices in this brochure are valid for travel from 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2021, unless otherwise stated, are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Exchange rates used when pricing this brochure are as at 26 February 2020. All prices are subject to availability, subject to change and can be withdrawn or varied without notice. Price changes may occur by reason of matters outside our control which increase the cost of the Product or Service. Such factors include (without limitation) adverse currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes and airfare increases. Surcharges and minimum stays may apply due to demand, Christmas and New Year’s Eve, school and public holidays, special events and other circumstances. All prices are the lowest available prices at the time of print and are a guide only. Please check all prices, availability, fees, conditions and information with your travel agent before booking. If we must change any part of your booking for reasons beyond our control, for example, an Accommodation Supplier overbooks accommodation, or if there is an increase in taxes or Supplier charges, we will notify you. If any such changes result in your holiday costing more or otherwise being materially different from that originally booked, you may cancel the booking and we will refund any monies already paid less any charges levied by Suppliers.
PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE
Anything not specifically indicated as being an inclusion.
OMISSIONS & ERRORS
While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy and currency of the information in the brochures, errors or omissions may occur.
