POST-WORLD CUP FARE AWAITS YOU!

Everyone in Qatar was so caught up in the exhilarating ride that was the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 that the aftermath was always going to posit questions about how to get back on our feet, so-to-speak. After all, for any host at this level, it was going to be an event of a lifetime. And so it was — and by most counts — the best ever delivered, which of course, makes us all very proud. But business apart, who can complain about the absolutely wonderful cool climes we have experienced, of late, in Doha. We have had plenty of rain and chilly nights that made January as nearly memorable as December last year! A month and a half later, finally, the hangover is giving way to activities that promise to keep us engaged and enthralled. Beginning this month, we have the annual National Sport Day, which never fails to provide the necessary impetus to prioritise a healthy lifestyle. At the risk of repetition, we strongly urge our readers to get out and about — not just on the dedicated day, but to embrace the regimen 365 days a year.

At Qatar Happening, we are pleased to offer you plenty of food for thought every month.

Qatar ExxonMobil Open and Qatar Total Open will also hog the limelight in February as the world’s top tennis stars make a beeline for the Khalifa Tennis and Squash Complex to vie for the men’s and women’s trophies.

This will be followed later in the month by the Legends League Cricket — an exciting new venture that Qatar — home to legion of fans with a subcontinental base will be keen to lap up.
