Can you brief us the background of your professional life and what inspired you to choose the hospitality industry?
My interest in hospitality sparked my journey towards gaining experience in the industry. I began by working at a fast food chain and eventually pursued a degree in hotel management at Notre Dame University. Through dedication and hard work, I climbed the career ladder from a receptionist role to eventually becoming the General Manager.
As the General Manager of two hotels, what are your top priorities for enhancing the guest experiences?
As the General Manager of two hotels, I place the utmost importance on elevating the guest experience by making sure that we answer their needs at every single touch point and by topping it up with Marriott’s wonderful hospitality, always. On another note, communication is key, our business objectives and strategies are clearly communicated with our associates, and this empowers and motivates them to excel in their respective areas by going beyond the norm. We also continue to improve our product and curate unique services to elevate our guest experiences consistently.
