Milkbread’s newly opened second location is a counter-service only spot in a historic area of Plaza Midwood. Best suited for a quick grab-and-go meal or a coffee and donut run, their menu includes everything from a hot dip chicken sandwich to a grain bowl with almond romesco. If you’re stopping by for breakfast or to satiate your sweet tooth, we recommend the Nutella toast with banana brûlée. A thick cut slice of bread is spread liberally with everyone’s favorite chocolate hazelnut spread and then elevated with thin strips of caramelized bananas. The brûlée adds a nutty, buttery flavor that’s best paired with an extra dry cappuccino.
