Our Father who art in Heaven,
ስምህ ይቀደስ፤ መንግሥትህ ትምጣ፤ Simih Yiqedes Mengistih Timt’a Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come,
ፈቃድህ በሰማይ እንደ ሆነች እንዲሁ በምድር ትሁን፤ Feqadih
Besemay Inde Honech Indeehu Bemidir Tihun
Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
የዕለት እንጀራችንን ዛሬ ስጠን፤ Yeilet

Give us this day our daily bread.
እኛም ደግሞ የበደሉንን ይቅር Ignam Degimo Yebedelunin Yiqir
Forgive us our trespasses,
እንደምንል በደላችንን ይቅር በለን፤ Indeminil Bedelachinin Yeqer Belen As we forgive those who trespass against us.
ከክፉም አድነን እንጂ ወደ ፈተና አታግባን፤ Kekifum Adinen Injee Wede Fetena Atagban & lead us least we wander into temptation; & deliver us from evil:
መንግሥት ያንተ ናትና ኃይልም ክብርም ለዘለዓለሙ፤ Mengist Yante Natna Haylim Kibirim Lezelealemu For Thine is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory forever.
