DavRail, Inc.’s offering of the Trac Rail Transposer is a safe and ef ﬁcient way to transport, remove and install lengths of rail and associated iron work under live Overheard Line Equipment and Catenary.

The TRT™ removes and installs all pro ﬁ les of rail and can work on all gauge of track. Multiple TRTs can be used to move long lengths of rail as well as transport, remove and install associated iron work like switches and crossings. The product is fully approved to operate in both North America and South America.

DavRail, Inc.’s offering of the TRTe – the electric Trac Rail Transposer is the rail industry’s fi rst zero emissions solution. Providing not only safe and ef fi cient transportation, removal and installation of rail and iron work – it also helps you achieve your own carbon ef fi ciency targets.

This ﬁ rst-of-its-kind solution uses an electric motor and battery powerpack, instead of the traditional diesel engine, and is run via an electronic control system with remote condition monitoring, enabling it to be worked more extensively in areas where diesel emissions and noise pollution are a major issue.

This machine operates in the same way as our TRTTM, a machine which has operated with 99.7% proven reliability during its 15 years of operation.

The TRTe will equal or better the duty cycle requirements of the existing diesel-powered TRT TM

• From a full charge, can undertake a duty cycle typical of a full 12 hour shift without a requirement for charging.

• Carry and pull the same rail volume (weight, lengths and types).

• Can provide auxiliary electric and hydraulic power for tools and accessories required for charging.

• Can be packaged within a size envelope similar to the existing TRT.

• Fully remote controlled operation creating an exclusion zone, eliminating handling issues.

• Can operate across all of the extreme environmental conditions seen on the North and South American rail networks.

• Battery powerpack can be charged via conventional automotive-standard charging methods - fast charge and trickle-charge. An auxiliary battery powerpack can also be added for recovery purposes.

With this technology, worldwide rail track maintenance and construction projects are completed in less time and with reduced operational costs.

The bespoke and patented Panel Lifter machines eliminate manual handling and improve the accuracy as well as productivity of installations.

Panel Lifters are completely remote controlled, creating an instant exclusion zone while also eliminating safe handling concerns.

The speed of removal is critical during limited possession timelines to enable rework of the track foundation ahead of replacement. The Panel Lifter system has been successfully and ef ﬁ ciently overcoming rail logistics challenges for more than 10 years.

The Panel Lifter revolutionizes the method of removing and installing rail panels up to 100m in length swiftly and safely, and with greater ef ﬁ ciency, in comparison to all other methods.

Extremely agile

Transforming the way in which you transport and dispense cable across track from any point of the rail line.

The Track Cable Transporter (TCT) is designed to lift, transport, and dispense cable from pre-wound cable reels. It does this more safely and ef ﬁ ciently than traditional methods due to it being entirely remote controlled.

The latest iteration of this rubber tracked machine can now be used to lift and dispense reels of cable up to 1600mm in diameter and two metric tonnes in weight.

Turnout Solution (MTS)

A new way to lift, install and remove S&C.

With a 50 metric tonnes lifting capacity per system, the Turnout Solution will revolutionize the installation of switches and crossings globally.

With its caterpillar tracks, the 25T solution can access and egress almost anywhere on track. The MTS can easily move pre-built panels in any direction before installation. This allows customers to handle their S&C installation with ease, without the need for large work areas or temporary track and the associated planning issues. With a maximum safe working load of 25 metric tonnes, the 25T solution can lift off of tilting for railcar panels, ﬂ at cars for main line installation/removal, and can maneuver itself to lift anywhere in the access point. The MTS is the perfect all-in-one solution for panel removal and installation.

FLASS Beam and Rail Trollies

FLASS Beam

The FLASS beam is used with a Panel Lifter system to lift and transpose sleepers of various compositions.

The FLASS beam is positioned over up to 14 sleepers and the built-in hydraulic system constrains the load using custom clips and a unique frame design.

The sleepers can then be transported whilst keeping the pitch set for ease of installation at point of destination.

Rail Trolley

Rail Trolleys carry substantial weights of new or old panels, and ties from the track to other locations.

The McCulloch Ten Tonne Trolley is the ideal solution for transporting multiple lengths of rail, full panels or any other track equipment. Each trolley is equipped with a full 4-cylinder pneumatic braking system to ensure absolute safety along with working lights, solar charging and multiple drawbar attachment options.

Additional equipment can be easily installed on each trolley as there are three tool ports on each ready to accept all McCulloch apparatus such as the Rail Gantry and the in-development Rail Roller.
