T RAVEL IT INERARY Day 1 Shanghai

Visit The Bund, which is Located on the west bank of the Huangpu River. Have a stroll at the Nanjing Road, The oldest shopping street in Shanghai. Drive to Pudong. Go to the top of the Jin Mao Tower, which has one of the highest bars in the world (Cloud 9 – 420metres). Enjoy a panoramic, bird’s eye view of the city.

Day 2 Shanghai (B)

Take a flight to Xi’an. On arrival, you will begin your day by vising the Shan Xi Museum and visit Xi’an City Walls, the most ancient and preserved city wall in China. You will continue to the Muslim Street, which is bustling with restaurants and stalls selling souvenirs and things which distinguish the Muslim community in China.

Today you will visit the Yu Yuan Gardens with its beautiful Tea House on a small bridge. After the visit, you will walk to the old town, Li Nong, and see the life of the normal local people behind the beautiful skyscraper. In the afternoon we will visit the Jade Buddha Monastery, which is famous for two Jade Buddha figures from Burma.

Day 5 Xi’an (B)

After Breakfast, we will drive to Suzhou. On the way back you will visit the town Luzhi Water Village by the Canal, which is a Water town also known the “Venice of China”, or “system of canals”. Continue to the Garden of the Master of the nets and the Lingering Garden. In the afternoon enjoy a nice walk along the Grand Canal.

Today we will visit to the famous Museum of Terracotta Warriors and Horses, the most important attraction in Xi’an after it was discovered in 1974 by a local farmer who was digging a well during drought in China. After the visit you will continue to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in the Monastery.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Beijing. We will continue to The Summer Palace, which was built as a birthday gift from the Emperor Qianlong to his mother in 1752AC. We will take a boat at the Kunming Lake where we will admire the view on Longevity Hill (seasonal).

Day 7 Beijing (B)

Today we will drive to The Great Wall at Ju Yung Guan which was built and remodelled many times since the 5th century BC - 16th century AD. Visit the Sacred Way, the path leading to the 13 tombs of the Ming emperors. You will then have a nice photo stop at the Olympic Stadium.

Day 8 Beijing (B)

You will begin your day and drive to the south of Beijing to visit magnificent and colourful Temple of Heaven, Which according to Chinese tradition was imperial use only. After, we will visit the Tiananmen Square “The gate of the heavenly sky”. You will continue to The Forbidden City, which was the political centre of China from 1420AD- 1911AD and has 9,999 rooms.

Day 9 Beijing (B)

Transfer to the airport for you safe flight home.

Warmly welcome by your guide, and transfer to your hotel for a nice refreshment. We will pay a visit in Wang Fu Jin Street, which is the most famous commercial pedestrian shopping street, the location of the Night Food Market located in the Huttong Area, then it’s back to your hotel for your first night in Beijing.

Day 2 Beijing (B)

After breakfast, you will transfer to the Train Station for a fast train to Shanghai. Upon arrival you will be met by your tour guide, and will visit the Pudong area. Continue to the Bund. In the evening you will visit the Shanghai Museum, with exhibits ancient Chinese art.

Day 6 Shanghai (B)

After breakfast you will visit the Tiananmen Square, the largest square in the world. Visit The Forbidden City which was the political centre from 1420AC- 1911AC and has 9,999 rooms. We will enjoy Huttong tour by rickshaw including visiting one of the local’s houses.

Today you will visit the famous TV Tower, which has a Wax Museum on the ground floor. Continue to the Yu Yuan Gardens, with its beautiful Tea House on a small bridge. Visit the Old City. In the afternoon you will visit the Nan Jing Road. Before heading back to the hotel, you will enjoy the most spectacular acrobatic show.

Today, after breakfast, we will drive to Hangzhou Water Village, The Capital of Zhejiang Province, which is located 180 kilometres south west of Shanghai. You will take a trip along the West Lake, located to the west of Hangzhou city and which is divided into five areas.

Today you will explore Hangzhou. We will start by the Tea Plantation Terrace (translated as “Dragon well”). We will continue to the Six Harmonies Pagoda, located at the foot of Yuelun Hill. We will finish with the Ling Yin Temple.

Day 9 Hangzhou/Xi’an (B)

In the morning, you will transfer to the airport for you flight to Xi’an. will visit Xi’an City Walls, the most ancient and preserved city wall in China. You will continue to the Muslim Street, which is bustling with restaurants and stalls selling souvenirs and things which distinguish the Muslim community in China.

Day 10 Xi’an/Guilin (B)

After the visit you will continue to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in the Monastery, which is one of the most important cradles of Buddhism in China. Transfer to the Airport for your flight to Guilin.

Day 11 Guilin/Longsheng (B)

Today you will have a one day tour from Guilin to Longsheng. You will visit the Longji rice terrace (translated as Dragon’s Backbone). You will then visit the Yao Tribe, one of the 55 minorities in China, the Long Haired women of the minority live on the top of the mountains in Longsheng area.

Day 12 Guilin/Yangshuo (B)

After Breakfast we will drive to Yangshuo, where you will enjoy a lovely Li River Cruise, which is a peaceful cruise along the Li River. In the evening you will experience a magnificent and impressive show right by Li River, with the Li River as the stage, the Misty Mountains as the backdrop and the 700 actors, most of which are also farmers during the day.

Day 13 Yangshuo/Hong Kong (B)

In the morning, drive back to Guilin, and transfer to the airport for your flight to Hong Kong. On arrival, see the Avenue of Stars, located along the Victoria harbour. After, we will continue to Victoria Pick, where we will have a spectacular view of the city, Victoria Harbour and the Lama Island.

Day 14 Hong Kong (B)

Transfer to Hong Kong International Airport for your safe flight back home.

After Breakfast we will drive to Yangshuo, where you will enjoy a lovely Li River Cruise, which is a peaceful cruise along the Li River. You will continue the day by visiting the local farmers by golf cart. In the evening you will experience a magnificent and impressive show right by the Li River.

Day 6 Yangshuo/Guilin/Chengdu (B)

You will begin your day by visiting the south of Guilin where the Moon Hill lies. You will continue by visiting the Silver Cave, which is a vast cave formed out of karst limestone and consists of three sections, where the grand hall stretches for 10 kilometres. Transfer to the Airport for your flight to Chengdu.

Day 7 Chengdu/E’meishan (B)

Today you will visit the Jin Li Temple. After the visit you will continue to the Panda Conservation Centre. We will then drive to Leshan and take a boat cruise to see the famous Giant Buddha, which is 71 metres of carved stone in the mountain. Drive to E’meishan for your overnight.

Day 8 E’meishan/Xi’an (B)

After Breakfast we will visit Mountain E’mei (E’meishan), the 10 thousand year old temple, located on the E’mei Mountain at 1,200 metres high. We will travel by cable car and reach the Wan Nian Temple. Take a nice walk down through the Monkey Area, located half way down the E’mei Mountain. Take a flight to Xi’an.

We will begin our day by driving to the south of Beijing to visit the magnificent and colourful Temple of Heaven. After the visit we will enjoy Huttong tour by Rickshaw including visiting one of the local’s house.

In the morning we will drive to Dazu, to see the extraordinary rock carvings. Located in the south east of Sichuan After the visit we will drive to Chongqing for 3 luxurious nights on the Victoria Yangtze River Cruise.

Day 10 - 12 Yangtze River (B, L, D)

Full day cruising on the Yangtze River. The Yangtze River is the longest river in Asia and the third longest in the world. Disembark at Yichang and transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 13 Shanghai/Home (B)

Day 9 Turpan/Urumqi/Kashgar (B)

Today you will visit the Gaochang Ancient Ruins. The ruins of the ancient Gaochang located in the desolate Gobi Desert, about 46 kilometres south east of Turpan. Visit the Astana Tombs. Later you will continue to The Flaming Mountains (red sandstone hills). In the afternoon, drive back to Urumqi and take a flight to Kashgar.

Today you will have a full day excursion to the Karakul Lake.. You will enjoy magnificent scenery of glaciers of the Karakoram Mountain – 4,000m above sea level. Chengdu City Break Leshan – E’meishan - 4 Days / 3 Nights Day 1 Chengdu

Upon your arrival in Chengdu, be met by your tour guide and transfer to your hotel. Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province in south east China. Founded over 2,000 years ago by the Qing Dynasty. Also called The City of Hibiscus and the Brocade City.

Day 2 Chengdu/Leshan (B)

Today you will visit the Jin Li Temple. After the visit you will continue to the Panda Conservation Centre, where you can see the life of the Pandas in a preserved, natural way. The Panda Centre was founded in 1987 in order to be a “worldclass research facility, conservation education centre, and international educational tourism destination”. By rescuing 6 giant pandas from the wild in 1987, the base eventually increased the panda population and today its count is 83 pandas. We will then drive to Leshan and take a boat cruise to see the famous Giant Buddha, which is 71 metres of carved stone in the mountain, located east of Leshan city at the place where 3 rivers meet. After Breakfast we will visit Mountain E’mei (E’meishan), the 10 thousand year old temple, located on the E’mei Mountain at 1,200 metres high. the largest at that time. It was destroyed during a typhoon in 1835. In 2005 it was officially enlisted as part of the UNESCO world Heritage site. Visit Largo de Senado, which, during the Portuguese colony of Macau, was a paved area in the centre, surrounded with the General Post Office buildings. Continue to Lou Lim Iok Garden, which is a Suzhou style garden, located in the central of Macau, the last renovation took place in 1970 and it was opened to the public in 1974.

You will be warmly welcomed by your guide, and transferred to your hotel for a nice refreshment. Shanghai is the commercial and financial centre of China and its largest city by population. After refreshments, we will continue Down Town. Visit The Bund, which is Located on the west bank of the Huangpu River, North to the Old City of Shanghai The Bund became the centre of the east Asian financial business toward the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th. Depending on time of arrival we will have a stroll along the Nanjing Road, the oldest shopping street in Shanghai and considered today to be the best commercial street.

Day 2 Shanghai (B, D)

In the morning you will visit the Yu Yuan Gardens, with its beautiful Tea House on a small bridge. After the visit, you can walk to the old town, Li Nong, and experience the life of the local people, and find out what lies beyond the beautiful skyscraper. You will then continue to the famous TV Tower (Pearl Tower), which was built in 1995, which is located in Pudong area and is 468 metres high. It has become symbolic place of architecture in Shanghai with a revolving panoramic area for visitors and Wax Museum on the ground floor. In the evening you will have a delicious dinner in the Revolving Restaurant, which is on top of the Oriental Pearl Tower (267 metres) and has a breath-taking panoramic view of Shanghai.

Day 3 Shanghai/Suzhou (B)

After breakfast, we will drive to Suzhou for a day trip exploring the fascinating Water Village. Located North West of Shanghai, and with history of more than 2,500 years. Situated in the centre of the Yangtze Delta. The city called is known as the “Venice of the East” because 42% of the city is covered with water. The Grand Canal runs through the city from north to south. On the way, you will visit Luzhi Water Town, known as “Divine Water First Town”, located south east of Suzhou. It has a cultural atmosphere with ancient houses and bridges. The town area is 75 square kilometres, and has a population of 70,000 people. Drive back to Shanghai and visit Shanghai Museum, with exhibits of ancient Chinese art, holding more than 100,000 objects in 11 galleries. The new site at the “Peoples Square” was opened in 1996. Before heading back to the hotel, you will enjoy the most spectacular acrobatic show, which combines western technology with Chinese art. In the evening you will have a delicious Teppinyaki farewell dinner, before heading back to your hotel.
