who are we OUR HISTORY
Founded in 2003, we began life as ‘Intelligent Ideas’, the brainchild of Mr O. O. Jeje. He identified a gap in the signage manufacturing market that he believed his company could fill. There seemed to be a distinct lack of real world class signage and display solutions, so Mr Jeje developed the business to meet the needs of his customers, adopting high tech solutions and innovative approaches. Since then , the company has enjoyed rapid growth, using new ideas, techniques and materials to gain new clients.

Expanded facilities enabled the company to bring the majority of its production and processes in-house, expanding its services to include merchandising, branding and exhibition set up. With this streamlining expansion, Intelligent Ideas firmly placed itself in an enviable position in the international signwriting marketplace, offering a comprehensive service for corporate visibility and a service which is unrivalled for speed, quality and efficiency. To celebrate its success, the company launched SignWriters in January 2013, a specialist branch of the group dedicated to providing exemplary signage solutions to a wide variety of businesses. Our company is recognised as the leading one-stop solution provider, being technically the best equipped in Nigeria and capable of handling a variety of projects from single signs to major corporate rebranding for blue chip clients. Mr Rotimi Jeje
The founder and driving force behind the creation of SignWriters, Rotimi is an innovative, results-driven and highly motivated individual. As a graduate from the prestigious University of Lagos, he has cultivated a strong background in customer service and business development. His consistent drive and ambition to be the best in the business means our company is able to provide exceptional levels of service and achieve outstanding results every time, elements that have been key to the continued success of the company in our highly competitive industry. As well as his dedication to SignWriters, Rotimi is a member of the board for a number of companies; including Purple Linen Nigeria Ltd., LM Gifts Nigeria. He is also a trustee of Friends of the Needy (a charity for Orphans and Widows), which is further demonstration of our Managing Director’s passion and dedication for helping others both inside and outside of the workplace.
Ms Funmi Ayotade
Behind every successful company is a highly attentive and professional company secretary, and SignWriters is no exception. Her name is Funmi and she provides an exceptional level of legal and administrative support, making sure that every element of the business runs smoothly and efficiently. Highly qualified with LL.B and B.L and very experienced, Funmi is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSAN). She is the grease that keeps our wheels turning day in and day out.

MR Bode Okunola
Executive Director
Chartered Economist, graduate of Insurance and holder of Masters in Business Administration, Olabode had a successful banking career spanning over 13 years. His academic grades are rock-solid and his strong leadership qualities and analytical capacity saw him leading many strategic banking positions in Branch Management, Relationship, Credit Analysis, Financial Reporting and Asset Management, including: Business Development Manager (W-Network) Omegabank Plc, where his responsibility covered four major profit centres of the bank. Manager, Export Desk Omegabank Plc & National Bank. He oversaw the export businesses in the west region covering up to eight branches at different times. Desk Manager, International Banking Group, Oceanic Bank International Plc. He was responsible for product development and profit drive for the bank’s international subsidiary outposts in the Gambia, Ghana, Liberia and Cameroon. Group Head, Business Development/Chief Credit Officer, Oceanic Bank Gambia Limited. This is an expatriate position which involves overall responsibility for business drive and goodwill growth of Oceanic Bank Group in the Gambia. This position was safely delivered throughout his two year sojourn in the Gambia. He has attended several trainings, seminars and workshops in Nigeria, Gambia, South Africa, UK and the United States.

As a graduate of the highly regarded University of Lagos, Tosin is qualified in Estate Management, having received a distinction. Since graduating, Tosin has honed her skills in project management to become an expert in the control and implementation of a variety of projects. With almost a decade of experience in her profession, Tosin is highly regarded in her field and capable of working effectively with a range of stakeholders, contractors and clients to ensure her projects are delivered on time, to the client’s budget and to the exceptionally high standards that SignWriters have come to expect. As well as overseeing the practical side of project delivery, Tosin also trains and mentors contractors and vendors to ensure the brand image and standard of work is maintained from conception to sign off. With her exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail, Tosin is the perfect project manager for projects both large and small.

Having already graduated in Industrial Relations from Pan Africa University, Kemi is working on a post-graduate project with The Research Development Institute. After several years experience as a Business Development Executive, she became our reliable source of well researched business plans and is constantly tracking new technologies and products so we can test them and offer our clients the best of the newest to help to keep them ahead of the game. She perfectly translates a business strategy concept into a practical customer product and provides our clients with a fantastic support system, along with the highest possible level of response and service.
