Harmony Life Magazine! i everyone and welcome to the September 2016 edition of Harmony Life Magazine!

Harmony is a very safe place to live. As a matter of fact, our newly-elected Osceola County Sheriff Russ Gibson is a resident. We also have numerous law enforcement officials who reside here-from Secret Service to FBI, many of our country’s finest live right here in beautiful Harmony!

Recently one of our local senior citizens, who suffers from dementia, wandered off and a call went out to help him via Facebook and other means. As we searched the golf course in our golf cart, it was truly amazing to see the number of people who dropped everything and came out to search. I didn’t count, but there had to have been at least 50 or more on bikes, golf carts, cars, walking and even skateboards! The gentleman was found on one of the trails and the ordeal had a happy ending, but this really shows that we live in an amazing place and in amazing times! I am truly proud to be a part of this wonderful community and I hope you feel the same way too!

HROA BOARD CANDIDATE BIOS STEVE BERUBE • 59 years old; married; two children; two grandchildren. • Employed as Regional Service Manager for Heavy Construction Equipment. • Bought in Harmony in 2004. • Appointed to Harmony Community Development District (CDD) in 2009. • Elected to CDD in 2010. • Appointed CDD Chair in 2012. • Re-elected to CDD in 2014 and continued as Chair. • Re-appointed as Chair in 2016. • Appointed to Harmony Residential Owners Association (HROA) in 2009. • Elected to Member Advisory Committee (MAC) of HROA in 2014. • Appointed to MAC Chair in 2014 and continue as MAC Chair today. • I believe that “local government” is perhaps the most important government in our lives because it is the one government that we can take an active part in and voice our opinions. Hopefully, those opinions lead to better lives for all of us. • As such, I have been a steady attendee at nearly every CDD and HROA meeting held here since I became a resident, and over time, came to sit on both boards gaining years of experience and insight over more than a decade here. I remain the only resident to have sat on both of your local government boards. • If elected, I will hit the ground running and use my experience to maintain Harmony as the premier community it has become.

JEANINE CORCORAN Jeanine first fell in love with Harmony when she and her family purchased their home in 2005. Soon after, her mom and dad became residents and as her children grew up, they stayed here and are still residents in our community. Jeanine is married to Bill Bokunic and together they have five adult children, three grandchildren-- two granddaughters who attend Harmony Community School and the newest, a grandson who is six months old. As a homeowner, Jeanine is very vested in Harmony and not a day goes by where she doesn’t appreciate the beauty within Harmony and all it has to offer. Jeanine has served on Harmony’s Covenants Committee since last April and will step down if elected. Jeanine is the Broker and Owner of The Corcoran Connection, a real estate and property management company located on Narcoossee Road in St. Cloud. She has been practicing real estate since 2005. Jeanine also serves as a Deaconess for Harmony Community Church. She is involved with Harmony Community School as a Business Partner and has served on numerous parent boards at both Harmony High School and Harmony Community School over the years as a parent. She comes from a large family with 9 siblings and is all about families. Jeanine understands the balance of a beautiful community and helping to keep the standards up while working with residents rather than against them. She believes everyone that has moved here is attracted to Harmony’s sense of community and all it has to offer. As Harmony continues to grow, it is Jeanine’s hope to be a positive influence and a voice for the residents by being elected to the board. There is no other place Jeanine would rather live--She loves it here! She would be honored to serve Harmony as a member of the board.

HROA BOARD CANDIDATE BIOS CONT’D MARCOS LOPEZ Currently an Osceola County Deputy Sheriff I served 22 years in the United States Military, enlisting in March of 1986 at 17 years of age. I was mobilized to support operation Iraqi freedom, Noble Eagle and Enduring Freedom as a law enforcement specialist attached to the Centcom Logistical Support Group Forward, (NALESFG FWD). I retired in 2008 with an honorable discharge. I have extensive training and experience in anti-terrorism, linguist certified speaking 3 languages and was a Successful business owner for 8 years. My educational background is in criminal justice and business administration. I have also resided in the central Florida area since 1979, relocating here from Chicago, Illinois. Currently a Harmony resident since 2010. I have dedicated many years of service to the U.S military, the private sector and the citizens of central Florida continuing to serve currently as a Deputy Sheriff. Thank you Marcos Lopez

JASON MEISEL Greetings, I am interested in submitting my name as a candidate for either the HROA Board or for the MAC itself. I am a proud and established homeowner in the Harmony neighborhood of Ashley Park and believe it is important to take an active interest in your community and I am pleased to do this with great pride. One of the many things that attracted me here was the ability to become involved in the maintenance and growth of our small town and doing something rather than just hoping it will turn out as we all envision. To that end, I have already become involved in my neighborhood association and was elected in 2016 to the Ashley Park Board where I stay in regular contact with the association manager and my fellow board members regarding landscaping, appearance and maintenance. I also attend and ask questions at the monthly CDD and town hall meetings, as I believe it is important to remain current on issues that affect our small and growing community. Having time and flexibility in my work schedule also enables me to stay on top of information, participate as needed and attend meetings without feeling rushed or being out of time. I am pleased to answer any additional questions that may arise and look forward to serving and working together for the benefit of our little town. Sincerely, Jason Meisel
