However, frankly for the listed political reasons, the IOC is a corporation that will stick to the money. With that being said, if the consumers are uncomfortable with the chosen location, the measures taken in this Olympics have been proven to be successful. As a result, it's likely that the IOC is going to approach the situation differently for 2036.
