FROM THE DESK OF Tawana Blassingame Founder & Editor in Chief Welcome to the July 2019 issue of Queen Size Magazine. I recall just a couple of months ago we were praying for a break in the weather; a break from the cold and the snow. Now here we are getting ready for summer fun. Kids are graduating and moving up in grades. My baby is graduating from 5th grade and is on his way to Junior High School. My oldest just finished his second year of college. Oh how I love this time of year. I have been searching the web looking at all of these lovely swimsuits that are being made just for US. Don’t be surprised if you see me on someone’s beach in a nice swimsuit. I’m not sure which would surprise people most, me on a beach or me in a swimsuit; either way watch out. LOL My message to you all is dare to be different! Love who you are and never apologize for it. Dream, but don’t forget to wake up and make those dreams a reality. Thank you all for continuing to support Queen Size Magazine. We would love to hear your feedback. Email us at queensizemagazine@gmail.com and let us know what you like, don’t like and/or want to see in future issues. We value your opinion. Be blessed and remember to be a blessing as well.

SIMPLE, FLAVORFUL RECIPES TO REIMAGINE MEALTIME

(Family Features) While it can be easy to fall into a routine of cooking the same recipes week in and week out, getting creative with mealtime can be as easy as making simple swaps and trying new flavor combinations with fresh, high-quality ingredients. One of the easiest ways to shake things up in the kitchen any night of the week is to reimagine a classic dish by replacing one of the main ingredients. As an alternative to the typical chicken or beef, fresh pork is a versatile, convenient and flavorful protein that can easily transform a predictable meal into something new and delicious. Instead of chicken Florentine, try this recipe for Pork Chops in Creamy Roasted Garlic Florentine Sauce, or rethink the typical weeknight stir-fry with this quick and easy Italian Stir-Fried Pork and Pasta. For more creative yet easy ways to reimagine mealtime, visit Smithfield. com/ShakeItUp.

HOW TO CREATE FRESH SPRING FLAVORS When it comes to healthy eating, looking for nutrient-rich foods to include in your diet is one of the more important goals. However, when warmer weather is in full swing, it may be tricky to incorporate nourishing foods that are versatile enough for grilling season.

Grilled Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus Prep time: 5 minutes Cook time: 8 minutes Servings: 6-8

For a keto- and paleo-friendly option ideal for grilling, consider using asparagus to please your crowd. With its peak season typically running through May and June, this vegetable can provide a much-needed flare to your seasonal feasts and be eaten warm or cold in appetizers, salads, side dishes and more.

1 pound Michigan Asparagus olive oil 1 package uncooked bacon, thin sliced balsamic glaze (optional) salt, to taste pepper, to taste

Keep in mind this multiuse food aligns with a variety of cooking methods, according to the Michigan Asparagus Advisory Board: saute 3 minutes, grill 5 minutes, steam 5 minutes or roast 15 minutes. In addition to quick and easy preparation, asparagus also allows for loads of wholesome health benefits with its low-calorie qualities and sources of fiber, folate and vitamins. To get the most nutritional value out of your asparagus, consider buying the veggie when it’s in-season from your local area instead of purchasing imported asparagus. Grown by over 100 family farmers in the United States, Michigan asparagus can be used in a tasty, savory dish like Grilled Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus for a fresh family meal. For more asparagus-inspired recipes and information, visit michiganasparagus.org.

Wash asparagus and trim ends. Place asparagus on tray and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat. Wrap 2-3 spears with one slice bacon. Repeat with remaining asparagus and bacon. Heat grill to medium heat and clean grates. Place asparagus bundles on grill and cook 3-4 minutes per side, or until bacon is crispy. During last minute of grilling, brush asparagus bunches with balsamic glaze, if desired. Avoid adding glaze too soon or it may burn. Add salt and pepper, to taste.

7 SUNSCREEN MYTHS A DERMATOLOGIST WANTS YOU TO STOP BELIEVING It’s no secret that sunscreen is essential for protecting our skin from the sun’s damaging rays. Even on a cloudy day, sunscreen is important for helping to reduce early signs of skin aging and skin cancer when used along with other sun protection measures. However, not everything you hear about sun care is true: there are a number of dangerous sunscreen misconceptions out there that can lead to potential issues for the skin down the road. To cut through the confusion and help you best protect your skin from the sun’s harmful effects, boardcertified dermatologist and Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at the New York University Langone Medical Center, Dr. Elizabeth Hale, who has partnered with Coppertone, debunks common sunscreen myths: MYTH #1: ALL SUNSCREENS ARE CREATED EQUAL Truth: To best protect your skin from both UVA and UVB rays, look for the words “broad spectrum” when choosing a sunscreen, which means the product protects from both forms of UV radiation. Opt for a product with a minimum SPF 30, which can help protect you from approximately 97 percent of the sun’s damaging rays, and look for a product that is water-resistant. MYTH #2: INDIVIDUALS WITH DARKER COMPLEXIONS DON’T NEED SUNSCREEN Truth: Having a darker complexion means more melanin is present in the skin, but this only works to diffuse UV light to a certain extent and doesn’t protect from skin cancer and sun-induced hyperpigmentation. The sun can cause damage to anyone’s skin, regardless of their complexion, which is why sunscreen is necessary for people of all skin tones and ethnicities. If the white residue left behind from sunscreen deters you from applying any, opt for Coppertone Sport Clear, a clear sunscreen with a gel-like consistency that goes on clear without leaving any white residue behind. It provides broad spectrum sun protection in SPFs 30 or 50 and is water-resistant (80 minutes). MYTH #3: COSMETICS HAVE ENOUGH SPF TO KEEP YOU PROTECTED Truth: A new wave of makeup products containing built-in SPF are taking over the market, but just because you use these products does not mean you should skip sunscreen for the day. Foundations, powders and other beauty products generally don’t provide adequate protection, so consider them just added insurance. Moreover, since we don’t always reapply our makeup on a regular basis, your skin is vulnerable for the majority of the day. To be safe, be sure to apply actual sunscreen before or after your makeup and reapply throughout the day. MYTH #4: SUNSCREEN DOES NOT EXPIRE Truth: Digging through old beach bags and car trunks for sunscreen might seem cost-efficient, but using an expired sunscreen puts your skin at risk. The active ingredients in most SPF products tend to break down after about three years, and even faster when exposed to high temperatures and direct sunlight, making the ingredients less effective in protecting you from sun damage. Not all sunscreen products come with an expiration date, so try to keep in mind when the product was purchased, store it indoors and be on the lookout for signs of deterioration, including changes in color, consistency, texture or smell. If you are not applying sunscreen regularly, which you should be, make it a point to restock your sunscreen at least at the start of each summer.

WWW.QUEENSIZEMAGAZINE.COM|JULY 2019 ISSUE

7 SUNSCREEN MYTHS| BRANDPOINT

11

MYTH #5: A BASE TAN WILL PREVENT SUN DAMAGE Truth: To prevent further skin damage our bodies naturally build up melanin, which is what makes us look tanner, but this natural protection is nothing compared to the defense provided by sunscreen. Any form of skin tanning is a sign of sun damage. Just because there are no visible signs of sunburn, UV radiation and unprotected sun exposure can still damage the skin, so always make sure to wear sunscreen and reapply as directed. MYTH #6: IF A SUNSCREEN SAYS, “WATER RESISTANT,” I DON’T NEED TO REAPPLY AFTER SWIMMING Truth: Some performance sunscreens will say “water resistant” on the bottle, which is great. However, even these waterresistant sunscreens need to be reapplied after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, and immediately after towel drying. Be sure to check your product instructions and use and reapply as directed. MYTH #7: CHEMICALS IN SUNSCREENS SHOULD BE AVOIDED

Truth: All of the ingredients used in sunscreens have been well-studied and considered to be safe for human use. In fact, while physical sunscreen ingredients like Zinc Oxide and Titanium Oxide are excellent options, the addition of chemical ingredients can help improve the spectrum of protection and make for a better performance sunscreen option. The good news is that there are many options available, so that you can make the choice of what’s best for you. Having a basic understanding of sun protection and knowing the truth behind common misconceptions is key in safeguarding your skin and reducing your chances of premature skin aging and skin cancer. Along with taking additional measures to protect the skin, such as wearing a protective hat or coverup and minimizing time in the sun when it’s the strongest, applying sunscreen as directed plays a vital role in keeping you and your loved ones’ skin protected and healthy. aniece Bryant is a 41 year old plus size model who has been modeling seriously for approximately three years. After working a corporate job for 20 years and being laid off, she decided to pursue her dreams full throttle. Janiece’s brand is all about making plus size mature aged women feel good about themselves and believing anything is possible at ANY age, even being a model. Amongst being a model she is a wife and mother “to three of the most amazingly beautiful young ladies in the world”. Janiece was born in Chicago, IL but spent most of her childhood in Milwaukee, WI. In 1998 her job relocated her to Columbus, OH where she currently resides. As a young woman there were so many things about her body that she wished she could change. Acceptance of herself and the way God created her became more essential to Janiece being a mother of all girls. Janiece wanted her daughters to grow up being confident and aware of who they are no matter what society depicts as “beautiful”, and she knew that started with her.

In 2016 Janiece auditioned for the biggest plus size fashion show to hit the Midwest; Curve the Runway Ohio. Since being casted for that, she’s walked in more than two dozen runway shows, including Detroit, MI- The Vine Expo and Raleigh, NC Premier Fashion Week, Crusade of Curves 2018 & 2019 along with being selected as one of three plus size models in the state of Ohio to model for ELOQUII during the kickoff of Fashion Week Columbus 2017. In March 2018 she joined the staff of ELOQUII providing plus beauties with style advice and creating valuable customer experiences. More recently she’s been involved in a multitude of body positive photo shoots, named a brand ambassador for a local and out of state boutique. And in 2019 she was named a house model for us (Queen Size Magazine). “In 2019 I want to continue to develop and grow my brand as a plus influencer. My ultimate goal is to model for a major plus size brand. More recently I began to mentor and coach women who are interested in modeling; I’m working on developing a more structured mentorship program. I want to teach girls and women everywhere, of all ages, shapes and sizes to accept and love themselves.”

FEATURED STORY

24

Who is Janiece Bryant? Q

SM: First of all I am just learning your age. I thought you were a lot younger; good for you. Take that compliment and just run girl. LOL!!!! Now, you obviously have put off this modeling thing for a while. When did you first have the desire to model? aniece: Lol!!! Thank you!!! I always kind of had the desire to model but working a 9-to-5 to help support my family was most important. I did a couple of small local events but never really jumped in the game until 2016.

J

Q J

SM: Tell me a little about your background. Have you always worked in fashion? aniece: Nope! I have always loved fashion and possessed a sense of style. I worked for AT&T for 20 years, nothing fashionable about that, lol! After being laid off in 2016 I decided to commit to doing something that JANIECE truly loved. This is when I begin to brand and promote myself as a plus size model. In 2017 I was introduced to ELOQUII when I was asked to model for their grand opening. Six months later I was employed by the company.

Q J

SM: Let’s talk quickly about when you got laid off. Was it sudden and where did it leave you emotionally? aniece: (deep sigh) it’s crazy because there were always rumors that our office would close but it always turned out to be just rumors. I wasn’t even at work the day it was announced, I had taken a vacation day. My daughter had just passed her driving test and we were out to lunch celebrating when my supervisor called me. My heart sank and I instantly started crying. Fear, anxiety, disbelief, and sheer panic immediately set in; I felt sick. Although I wasn’t happy at AT&T, it was my norm for 20 years and I made EXCELLENT money. In the 90 days leading up to the doors closing I prayed and prepared myself. I finally came to term with this being Gods way of forcing me to do something I was too afraid to do on my own.

Q J

SM: How long have you been married and has your husband always been supportive of your modeling career? aniece: (grinning) My husband and I have been together 21 years and will celebrate 16 years of marriage August 2, 2019!!! I have the most supportive husband ever. When I wanted to immediately start looking for another job he said “Niecy, take a year off and do you, I got us.” You can usually find him at every runway show front and center yelling my name, posting my accomplishments and pics on his social media. He’s encouraging and motivates we when I’m doubting myself, I am truly blessed!

QJ

SM: How old are your daughters? aniece: 60, 70 and 80, lol!!!! No, seriously, they’re 10, 14 and 18. They just act like lil ole ladies.

WWW.QUEENSIZEMAGAZINE.COM|JULY 2019 ISSUE

Q J

SM: I ask model moms this question often; would you be ok with your daughters getting into this modeling industry? Why or why not? aniece: Ummm, I would be okay with it. They have all modeled for a local designer and the youngest recently participated in a fashion show for Macy’s. As long as they stay true to themselves and use their success to pay it forward...oh and take care of their Mommy and Daddy, lol!!!

Q

SM: As cliché as this question sounds I have to ask where you find the time to just do you? Being a mom is a full time job. Being a wife is a full time job. You have a full time job and you are modeling. Dish out your secret! aniece: Whew! That does sound like a lot, lol! I actually only work part-time. After taking a year off I decided that I liked being able to take my kids to school, pick them up, be home early enough to make dinner and help with homework; ELOQUII was willing to work around my availability so it worked out! Working part-time also still allows me to take model gigs. Nevertheless, there is still not enough hours in the day; my girls are usually involved in some sort of extracurricular activity so I stay running them around. Now that my girls are older, it’s easier for me to MAKE time for myself and for Mr. Bryant and me to have regular date nights, but it can still be challenging.

J

Q Y

SM: You and I recently talked about one of your daughters in particular who has sickle cell correct? Janiece: es ma’am! Heaven aka My Bug! QSM: Is this the youngest, middle or younger child? And how old is she? Janiece: 10, my youngest.

Q J

SM: Can you share the details on when you found out about her diagnosis? aniece: There is a newborn screening that’s done on all new babies before they leave the hospital. We were at her first pediatric appointment about five days after her birth when the pediatrician said she needed to refer us to a hematology/oncology clinic for additional testing and the rest is history. QSM: As a family, how are you all coping with it? Janiece: It’s tough, but we support Heaven and each other in every way we can. Her sisters learned early how to care for their sister when Mommy and Daddy aren’t around. It would melt my heart to see them try and distract her from an early onset of a pain crisis by playing music, coloring or getting out the Play-Doh (it used to be her favorite thing to do when she was sick)! I grew up with my baby sister having this disease so my parents are extremely helpful and supportive. My sister, Jennifer who is my parents’ third child and my Bug who is my third child are like kindred spirits. I can tell my baby loves that her Auntie can relate to her pain and the frustrations of this disease that she has and will continue to endure. All in all we have a pretty amazing support system from family as well as close friends.

Q J

SM: I can only imagine the emotional strain of having a sick child. I have an asthmatic child and I go through it when he gets sick. aniece: Ohhh, don’t I know it! I get emotional just thinking about her future with this disease and how she will manage the impact it will have on her life. From newborn until about 5 years old she did pretty well. Around 5 she started getting sick a lot. Pain crisis and Acute Chest Syndrome, which can be fatal for people with Sickle Cell Anemia Disease, were happening very frequently. She was in the hospital regularly. I was physically, mentally and emotionally drained. In January 2017, her team of doctors suggested that we began a procedure called Apheresis, which in Layman’s terms means the removal of bad blood and adding new blood. This procedure requires her to miss a day of school once per month...I will take that over days or weeks spent in the hospital. She hasn’t been hospitalized in a little over 2 years!!! Hallelujah!!!

Q J

SM: Have you ever had to miss out on any opportunities because of her illness? aniece: Oh my goodness YES! It’s crazy you ask that because my sister and I always talk about the “inconvenience” of this illness but when you think about it, what disease or illness isn’t, huh?! True story….the first plus size casting I was scheduled to attend in 2016 I had to cancel because my daughter got really sick and went into the hospital. I was crushed but I made up in my mind that it was a sign, must not have been meant for me to go. Although I missed the casting I still agreed to be a part of a group shoot for the shows promotion. When I went to pick up my t shirt for the shoot, the show producer asked why I didn’t attend the casting. I explained what happened with my daughter, she said she would be needing a couple more models and told me to send her my pictures and a video of my walk…..and here I am! Crazy, right?!?!

Q

SM: I enjoy interviewing people because I think we forget that other people have lives and may be going through similar or even worse situations than we are. We don’t think about things like that. For me I get to really know people. aniece: Yeah, I think social media has made us all “believe” that everyone is living these perfect lives. Technology which is “supposed” to keep us connected has actually disconnected us. I’m guilty of this, God is still working on me though, lol! We don’t call and check on our friends and family, actually talk to them and make sure they’re okay.

J

QJ

SM: How did you get the opportunity to work for Eloquii? aniece: ELOQUII was opening their Columbus pop up store September 2017, right around the kickoff of Columbus Fashion Week. Three plus size models were needed to model for ELOQUII and I was selected! I met an employee while getting fit for the event and we exchanged information. Six months later she reached out to me with an opportunity to work for the growing brand and I went for it.

Q

SM: Has your family gotten to see you in action yet? As a model.

27

J

aniece: Absolutely! I wish they could attend everything. My husband will usually always travel with me to out of state events or shoots.

Q J

SM: Tell me about two models/influencers that you feel are great examples of what this industry should look like. And

why. aniece: So, I have lots of plus size influencers that I absolutely love. One my new favorite influencers is a young lady I met at Crusade of Curves in Raleigh, North Carolina in 2018. Ms. Lorna Finn aka Cystumofcurves. She is so transparent about being a plus size woman. She isn’t 5’10, she is not perfectly proportioned and she owns it. One of my all-time favorite will always and forever be Tess Holiday. She isn’t trying to fit into anyone’s mold, she is truly unapologetically herself. I think its dope when women aren’t afraid of their flaws, they put them in your face like BAM!! LOL! These two ladies are great examples of being true to you, which is what this industry needs more of.

Q J

SM: If you could change two things about this industry what would they be and why? aniece: First, this thing with having a huge social media following. It’s some really amazing plus size models out here putting in work, grinding, but aren’t getting any exposure or opportunities because they lack a certain number of followers on social media. People have mistaken a large number of followers to mean more value. I had a model ask me what I thought about her paying for followers…..I think that’s crazy; your following doesn’t represent your value, you do! Secondly, I wish plus size brands would be more diverse in their selection of models when it comes to race, height and size. The average height of a woman is 5’4 and as of May 2019 it was reported that the average size of an American woman is between 16-18, that’s what plus size women want to see when it relates to some of these brands, women that look like them. One of my model friends, who is a size 22 just said to me that she was getting discouraged because she felt that as a plus size model you have to be very shapely with an hourglass figure or extended plus to have a career in this industry. It can be quite disappointing and discouraging. I hate that women always feel the need to fit into what others people’s idea of women, plus or otherwise should be.

Q

SM: I read in your bio that you are working on developing a mentorship program; good for you. That is definitely needed. Please do keep us posted on that. We would love to support somehow. You are definitely a super woman to me. Keep being great. Please let people know where they can follow you and possibly work with you. aniece: Yes, I have so many young women who reach out to me about getting started as a model and I always tell them and I can only advise you on what has worked and hasn’t worked for me, look I’m still nowhere near where I want to be. But it’s certainly something I want to focus more on this year. Awww, thanks Tawana, I appreciate you and the QSM team for supporting me throughout this journey, you all are awesome. People can follow me on Instagram: @j_b_curvy, Facebook: Janiece B. (Plus Model), for bookings email prettypluspassion@gmail.com

HOW TO LOOK POLISHED ON ANY BUDGET | STATEPOINT

You don’t need to spend a fortune to look like you own a fortune.

Go Thrifting

Use these shopping and wardrobe maintenance tips to look amazing on a limited budget:

You’ll never know what treasures you’ll find while thrifting. Bear in mind that many items -- including designer fashions -- may be on sale in nearly mint condition, with just one spot or other imperfection. Experts say it may still be worth the risk to buy those with the dreaded Dry Clean Only tag.

Clothing Exchange By hosting a clothing exchange, you won’t need to spend a dime updating your wardrobe. How does it work? Invite fashionable friends to bring their unwanted, gently used items to your home (or another location with a lot of space). Once all your guests arrive, you’ll have a huge pile of clothing, shoes and accessories for everyone to assess. That awesome skirt that didn’t quite flatter your best friend? It may look just right on you. Your handbag that no longer goes with anything? It may be a friend of a friend’s newfound treasure. Clothing exchanges are not only fun, they’re an excellent way to walk away with new-to-you items that you love. Don’t forget to have a full-length mirror on-hand!

At-Home Care Ever shied away from purchasing a particular garment because the label said “Dry Clean Only”? There’s an easy way to avoid the steep cost and inconvenience of the dry cleaners without avoiding the high-quality garment itself. Treat items at home using Dryel At-Home Dry Cleaner, which comes with cloths similar to dryer sheets that are infused with cleaners and are used to steam clean clothes in the dryer.

Appleton, whose Goldwill Digger blog details her thrifting missions says, “I used to be deterred from thrifting dry clean only items because the cost of professional dry cleaning outweighed the bargain of the garment. With Dryel, I can easily and affordably clean these delicate pieces at home.” Another common thrift store woe? Finding the perfect item with a missing buttons or tear along a seam. Learning a few basic sewing skills is critical for any serious thrifter. Whereas others may pass over a treasure for a small imperfection, you’ll have the know-how to restore it to mint condition.

Re-Sell Whether you visit a consignment shop or use an online platform such as thredUP, reselling items you no longer want or need is a great way to infuse your clothing budget with some quick extra cash and is totally on-trend -- 56 million women bought secondhand products in 2018, up from 44 million in 2017, according to thredUP’s Annual Resale Report. By applying a few new strategies to your shopping and clothing care routine, a polished look can be yours, no matter your budget.

“At a cost of just 25 cents per item washed, it’s a great moneysaving alternative for maintaining your best looks,” says Betsy Appleton, a fashion blogger. article provided by StatePoint

7 SMART STEPS TO IMPROVE INDOOR AIR QUALITY AT HOME Think about how much time you and your family spend inside versus outside. From your home to the car to work and to school, it’s not uncommon that the majority of your day is spent indoors. This modern phenomenon means increased exposure to indoor air pollution. Fortunately, with a few smart, proactive steps, you can help protect yourself and your family. People vastly underestimate the time they spend inside, assuming just four hours, when in actuality they are inside more than 21 hours each day, according to The Indoor Generation report by The VELUX Group. The Indoor Generation refers to a growing number of people who spend the vast majority of their time indoors - currently 90 percent of their days on average, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. In addition to people spending more time inside, homes are being built and sealed tightly to meet the demand for increased energy efficiency. This is great for energy efficiency but not so great for fresh air exchange, which is necessary to maintain healthy indoor air quality. The resulting polluted air is locked in and can have health consequences: Moldy and damp air inside the home can increase the risk of asthma by 40 percent. Poor indoor air quality can contribute to irritated eyes, nose and throat, headaches and fatigue. Long-term indoor air pollution can even lead to the development of respiratory diseases and heart disease.

How to improve indoor air quality Everyday activities, such as cooking, cleaning, showering, burning candles and drying clothes, contribute to polluted indoor air. Pollutants coming from toxic materials, such as plastic toys, synthetic furnishings, cleaning solvents and building materials, can also worsen indoor air quality. Adding natural light and fresh air to your home can help combat the dangers of modern indoor living. Here are seven smart steps homeowners can take to make their living conditions healthier: Vent air while cooking Always remember to turn on the hood fan while you’re cooking and open nearby windows and skylights. Try cooking oils with higher smoke points, so you produce fewer fumes. Palm, peanut, grapeseed, avocado and sunflower oils all have smoke points higher than 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Install a skylight Adding a skylights is a simple renovation project that drastically improves your home’s health. One option is Velux No Leak Solar Powered Fresh Air Skylights, which bring in natural light and open to create fresh air flow. The latest models come with a remote control to open and close the skylight and its blinds. Learn more at whyskylights.com. Use natural air flow Hot air rises and cool air stays closer to the ground. You can take advantage of this natural air exchange in your home by opening a skylight or window higher in your home while also opening one below it or on a lower level. As fresh, cool air is pulled in, the warmer, polluted air will escape at the top. Avoid burning candles Candles provide ambiance and often a pretty scent, but they can have a negative effect on indoor air quality. Try opting for beeswax candles, which produce fewer airborne toxins. Alternatively, check out battery-operated candles that look close to the real thing. Clean regularly Create a home and pet cleaning schedule, and stick to it as much as possible. Vacuuming can help eliminate dust and dander. Dry clothes outside When the weather is nice outside, take a cue from your grandparents, and dry clothes outside naturally with the sunshine and breeze. Eliminating use of the dryer or dryer sheets decreases air-polluting fumes and moisture buildup in your home. Plus, who doesn’t love the smell of line-dried clothing? Make home airing a daily habit Even if the weather only allows you to air out your home for a few minutes, it can make a world of difference. Make a habit of opening windows and skylights daily. If you think you’ll forget, just set an alarm on your phone to remind you. Article provided by Brandpoint WWW.QUEENSIZEMAGAZINE.COM| JULY 2019 ISSUE
