Note from the Editor Welcome to the September 2015 issue of Queen Size Magazine. Some of us are winding down, counting the days until the end of summer; while others are preparing for back to school. Me, I am trying to hold onto the few weeks we have left. This issue is dedicated to the end of summer; I know you don’t want to hear it so I won’t say any more on it. Lol Be open to change. This is my message for you all reading this. A great wise man once said “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”. That man was Albert Einstein. I decided to plant this message for you all because I get tired of going on social media and listening to the same people complaining about the same things over again. Change doesn’t come over night, but it doesn’t come if you do nothing either. Set goals for yourself, small goals at a time. In time you will see some changes. Mentally prepare yourself for the road blocks that WILL come. I want to see us all succeed and attain our goals; together we can. Thank you all for supporting Queen Size Magazine. ard, Jr

QUEEN SIZE MAGAZINE PRESENTS
“To Answer Your Question” By SHIRLEY BEALE
JEZEBEL IN THE CHURCH Question: Hello Shirley. I am married to a Pastor. One of the ladies in the church came up to me and said that God told her that she was going to marry my husband. At first I stood shocked and not believing what this woman had said to me. I asked her if she is to be his wife, where was I going to be. She replied, “Well, I guess you gonna have to die or something”. How would you have replied to her? SHIRLEY’S RESPONSE: Well, in your position, your response may be different than some. This woman clearly is a few cents short of a dollar bill. Translation: She is crazy. Unfortunately there are tacky women EVERYWHERE: in the street, in the church and even in the PULPIT. When you encounter such desperate, pathetic creatures, pray hard and fast to keep from knocking the crap out of them. Second, since we are living in a sick society with very few female role models, reality TV and bad behavior has crept into the mentality of many as the norm. You see the worldly and the un-worldly acting wicked. My response to this woman would have been this: Example: WIC (whorish ignorant chick): Hi Shirley. God told me that I was going to marry your husband. SHIRLEY: Really? Well, since my husband ALREADY has a wife, what’s going to happen to me? WIC: Well, I guess you gonna have to die or something. SHIRLEY: Well, since I stand on the Word, I will leave you with some precautions: Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against me shall prosper. Galatians 6:7 Whatever a man soweth, that shall he reap. And lastly, I know for a fact that the voice you heard was surely not that of God because he is not the author of confusion. After saying that, simply walk away and go about your business. If Ms. WIC continues to approach you with her foolishness, pray for her deliverance…… Deliverance from your sight; Deliverance from your church; Deliverance from your city; Deliverance from your state; Deliverance from your country………. If that still doesn’t work, you may want to mention her in prayer during a prayer service: “Dear Lord, I have a special prayer. Please forgive Sister WIC (Whorish Ignorant Chick) for chasing my husband, telling me God will make her his wife. Forgive

her for telling me that I will have to die in order for her to have him. And Lord, if she suddenly happens to fall down a flight of stairs or get punched in the face or beaten up by other women whose husband she tried to seduce, let her arise from her hospital bed or comatose state and be too ashamed to show her face around here again. As a matter of fact, let her find peace on Mars or any other planet where she can finally meet her mate and be with forever. Amen. As I always say: Prayer Works !!! lol.
BLACKMAILING FRIEND Question: Hello Shirley. I’ve had a “friend” for some time now. We use to get along very good and had good times together. Then something happened to cause me to take a closer look at this so-called friendship. I’ve realized that she is nothing like what I thought. She is very conniving and not trustworthy. I tried to end the friendship but she is not accepting it. She is threatening me with something that is personal but not unlawful. Something I shared in confidence. This relationship has become a problem. What should I do? Signed Really Regretful SHIRLEY’S RESPONSE: Hello Really Regretful. I truly understand your situation. If your “friend” is threatening to expose something you shared in confidence to remain in your life, I say let them. Holding something over someone’s head to remain in their life is crazy. This person has stooped to a sad level of Pathetic. You cannot allow this person to control you with information or anything else. Whomever she is threatening to tell may not care about this information after all. I know of a situation similar to this and it is truly a sad one. Using sympathy or guilt to remain in someone’s life is unhealthy. My suggestion is to never let ANYONE dictate your happiness. Life is short and very precious. You need to cut this person loose IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!! If you can’t do it on your own, you may need to enlist the services of some professionals, either legal, spiritual or BOTH. Another suggestion would be to get some family members that aren’t afraid to “handle” the situation for you but since I don’t advocate violence, go with the professional/spiritual help. Lastly, the next time you need to share some personal information, if you don’t have anyone you can trust, write or call me. If I can’t solve your problem, I’ll at least give you something to laugh about. Laughter is good for

the Soul. Take care.
MARRIED TO MY HUSBAND, NOT HIS FAMILY!!! Question: I’ve been married to a great guy for years. He is a blessing and one of a kind. It’s hard to believe that he is related to the group of crazies he calls family, starting from the siblings on down. We live a comfortable life because of hard work which his family has no concept. They hang out, party, no one seems to have goals and they are always begging. When they come over, they intentionally stay late so he can invite them to sleep over. They borrow money and NEVER pay it back, yet he still dishes it out. He loves the people and I’m sick of it. He is a great man but when it comes to them, he has no boundaries. Where is it written that a person has to deal with their spouse’s jacked up family? We don’t have this problem from my side of the family. Ultimate level of PISSIVITY. SHIRLEY’S RESPONSE: Well Mrs. Pissed Off, you may not want to read my reply but here it is. First of all, it is a blessing to have what you describe as a “Great Guy”. You two are financially comfortable and seem to have it together. Since your Great Guy Husband loves what you describe as “these people” then you need to find a way to work with him in dealing with them. Obviously they feel you all can afford to help them because they keep coming back and you keep giving. Trying to turn your husband against his family or cut them off is asking for problems within your household. If you can’t afford to continue to help them, SHOW him why, don’t tell him. As irritating as you say they are, he loves them. Do not put a burden on your husband of having to choose between his family and you. You may not like the outcome. Your husband seems like a very kindhearted man; don’t try and change him. Talk to him about your concerns and find a way to resolve it. You may not have this problem with your family because they may not like you. (Just kidding) but your husband’s kindheartedness may be one of the reasons you love him so. When you talk to him about it, do it with love, compassion and understanding. But whatever you do, do not bash or talk about his family because he loves them. Don’t describe them as “jacked up” because that can get back to them. Remember how much you love your man and try and come to understand that the benefits you get from loving your great man is worth the small inconvenience of having family members around that DONT measure up to what you feel they should. Lighten up on your husband’s family. As you said already, he loves them. Dealing with them is a small price to pay for the reward of having a great man. I know many wish they had YOUR problem. When they come around, watch movie marathons of Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Family Reunion, Diary of a Mad Black Woman & Madea Goes to Jail. Picture yourself as Madea. That will eat up some time and give you laughs too. Have fun wit cho’ family !!!
GAMBLING: PEOPLE NEED TO GET A LIFE Question: Hi Shirley, My friends are concerned that I have a gambling problem. I like to go to the boat or casino. I go about 3 times a week but only spend the money I take with me. I never
go to the cash station to get more. Once I’m done with what I brought, that’s it for me. I KNOW HOW TO WALK AWAY. Although my pastime has caused some arguments with me and my husband, I still don’t think it’s a problem. We are about to move into an apartment to downsize from our house so therefore our finances will be a lot better. We are behind on some bills but that’s because we are slightly over-extended. I consider this a method of relaxation. I don’t blow money on anything else. Not shopping, drugs, nothing. Why can’t these nosey people get out of my business? I’m just having fun. SHIRLEY’S RESPONSE: Dear Having Fun: If you continue to “have fun”, you may find yourself all alone and no one will stop you from going to the casino/boat. Your friends are obviously concerned about your behavior or addiction. The fact that you go 3 times a week is serious. Have you ever added up the amount of money you are spending? Is this your extra money that you and your spouse have budgeted for? I don’t think it is because if it were your extra money or what I call my “play money”, then you would not be overextended, you wouldn’t be behind on your bills and you would not have to move from your home to an apartment to “downsize”. You should stop this behavior immediately, seek help, ask your friends and spouse for support in getting through this and seek professional help!!!!!! This is very serious and I hope you will take heed to my advice. I wish you the best in your choice to put yourself and your family first before you lose it all. Take care.

Makeup Tips for Young Divas The Color Box By Maria Make Up Made Easy and Simple Make Up Tips For The Young Divas
Hello to all my Queen Size beauties I hope all is well and we are all enjoying the summer weather. Here is a quick FYI tip for the summer. Combine a little moisturizer and foundation together and apply. This is a lighter form of foundation for the summer and you can put more than one layer for buildable (full) coverage. This past week during my daily travels to and from work I noticed a little girl around the age of five and guess what. She had on make up! Now I’m not talking about a little lip-gloss but full blush, lipstick and eye shadow. This site brought back a childhood memory where my mom would allow me to carry a lip balm called “Tinker Bell” in my little purse. As I got older I was allowed to wear that “really shiny gloss” that came in “flavors” in the glass bottle with the roller ball. My favorite was “bubble gum” and “strawberry”. How many of these I broke in my purse you would never know LOL! So I began to wonder was this young lady going to perform in a play or dance recital. I also began to wonder if her mom just allows her to wear make up period. My make up assessment was that her make up was not bad! The colors complimented her skin tones and the look was natural and clean. So with that said here are my Make Up Tips for the all my little Queen Divas: The first thing to consider is the child’s age. I would suggest for children between the ages of 3 to 5 years old a simple tinted lips gloss is just fine. No more! No less! For children ages 6 and older this would be subject to the parent’s wishes and they should create the look they would like for their child. Parents need to bear in mind that young children have very delicate skin, some colors just don’t look good on younger children and yes they are children not adults! So what make up you wear s a parent is not appropriate for your young child. In terms of the type of products I suggest the use liquids, creams and or cream to powder products. Loose powders can be inhaled in young lungs and this is something we want to always avoid. Hypoallergenic products are perfect because you are decreasing the risk of a skin reaction. Mineral make up is another ideal product for young skin because the ingredients are dye free, oil free and chemical free. So now you know what is best to use the next step is what do we apply? We are looking for a “beat face”. The aim you are looking for is clean, light and natural. Stick to colors that are pinks, peaches and browns.

(1) Lips: A tinted lip-gloss or lip balm is fine. Here is a FYI tip to pop the lip color: Mix together a clear lip balm and a little lipstick together. This will add more color but not intense color.
(2)Blush: Use a cream blush which is easy to apply and easy to blend in the cheek area. To apply make sure apply on the “apple of the cheeks and blend upward.
(3) Eye shadow: Choose one eye shadow no more that two. No Smokey eyes or multi-color shadows and black shadow. When applying eyes shadow blend across the entire lid. Young children have fine features and use very little of the product.
Young children do not need the following: eyeliner, mascara, eyelashes, lip liner, heavy lipstick, false eyelashes, foundation, primer or bronzers. These items come in to play if a young child will participate in a play or dance recital. I hope you find these tip helpful for all my little Queen Divas. Remember this should be a fun experience. Have fun, play and experiment with make up. CARL TUITT My name is Carl Tuitt, of Modern Photographix and I am a photographer. I hail from the Bronx, NY, and have been shooting professionally for 16 years now. I recently landed a position as a photography teacher, for a private high school. I started Modern Photographix as a brand that would merge classic photography with modern. I am a second generation Canon photographer, as my father was a photographer hobbyist. However, I decided to take up photography as a profession, after repeated encouragement from professionals. Today Modern Photographix is a brand synonymous with abstract, and outside of the box thinking. If its normal, it’s boring. I’m not afraid to be different. If you are interested in a different experience, or just need photos that make your portfolio pop, Modern Photographix is your choice.

TIME MANAGEMENT ..............................................
by NATALIE DAWN
From my own personal experience I’ve learned that anything is achievable. It is all depending on this one question, “How bad do you want it?” Working full-time and going to school full-time are no excuse as to why it can not be done. A full schedule just means utilizing time management and being more aware of the time you do spend on extra activities. If modeling is what you want to do in life you must make the necessary time. Time management is the key to a successful career. Listed below are a few key points that will help on your journey to being able to manage a job, school, and a modeling career. •Put yourself on a schedule and designate a certain time for your modeling. •Make sure you prioritize. School is important because it will help you spring to the next level in your career. •Take your schoolwork with you to fashion shows if you need to. There is a lot of down time while preparing for shows with hair and makeup. That would be the perfect opportunity to work on homework if you need TO. •Get your school work completed early. Most professors will post work a few weeks ahead. If one day you have more time than other days, complete as much as you can to get ahead that way you do not fall behind. •Ask for a flexible schedule at work if that is an option. Being able to switch days with coworkers or only working certain days a week will help with time management. I never said it would be easy, but it is manageable. Know that there will be sacrifices made as well. With a full schedule you may not be able to spend as much time with friends and family. Some days less sleep may be your sacrifice. If in a relationship your partner needs to understand that modeling is important and communication will be vital in maintaining a healthy stress free relationship. What is your “why”? Why did you decide to model? Let that be the motivation that keeps you going throughout this journey; no one said it would be easy…. But it is definitely worth it. Be consistent in everything you decide to do and do not let little things discourage you from your goals. With everything you may lose, whether it is sleep or a friend, you will gain way more on the way. Natalie Dawn #iamqueensize

ARIELLA VASQUEZ PHOTOGRAPHER |Ivory Jackson, Lucivory Photography MUA | Makeup by Reeda Starting off my journey as a straightsize model, I had the interest of several agents who told me to lose weight. At 6 feet and 130 pounds, I was not thin enough. Feeling deflated and hungry, I ventured off into college and my inherent desire to model waned became a fleeting moment. I got a degree and established my career as a court reporter, but something was missing.
Now 40 pounds larger and a size 10, I began to look into plus-size modeling. I became inspired by models like Ashley Graham and Tara Lynn who were confident and unapologetic about their bodies. The fire for modeling was reignited. The ability to immerse oneself completely and evoke a plethora of emotions at a moment’s notice is why I model and what I strive for at every shoot. I am elated to see where this journey takes me; I hope to inspire women whose size is underrepresented in media to be proud of who you are.

FEATURED STORY
CARMINA SUZANNE | BY TAWANA BLASSINGAME
Tawana: Carmina, it was such a pleasure meeting you. You are just a breath of fresh air. Tell us something about yourself that we won’t be able to find in your bio or online. Carmina: Thanks so much Tawana, your whole staff was so friendly and professional! Well let’s see – I’m a huge animal lover and would stuff my own house full of rescue pets if I could. I’m addicted to fragrance, scents and perfumes and mainly navigate through the world with my nose. Tawana: LOL. That is too cute. No wonder you and Mr. Drew get along; he is a fragrance lover himself. So, exactly how did you get into modeling and how long have you been doing it now? Carmina: I was first scouted in my early 20’s and did some low level local work, but then was taken out of the game for a good 10 years due to severe health problems. So I went to Harvard and lived the life of the mind, hiding in libraries because I felt my body had betrayed me. But in my mid-30s my husband and I moved to Britain for my opera career, and since my health had stabilized I thought, “Now is the time to try it! I am in London, after all…” I threw myself into it 200% and had huge success in a fairly short time. So I’ve been doing it for real for about 5 years now. Tawana: You have modeled in some very prestigious shows in many different corners of the globe. Do the modeling styles differ from state to state, country to country? How? Carmina: I’ve been very lucky to be on some of the top plus runways in Paris, London, Miami and New York! Oh yeah, when I moved back to the States it took a good year to train the European style out of my runway walk. There is a slight difference, but it’s more marked for male catwalk models I think. My body shape is more similar to what the preferred plus silhouette is in Europe so I had to adjust to that as well. Tawana: You lived in Britain for some years; what made you move there and then what made you move back to NY? Carmina: In 2007 my hubby and I moved over for my academic and opera career – he’s a German citizen so we have full EU status. While our time in the UK was overall very negative, both our careers really blossomed over those 5 years. I also worked on a national diversity project called Models of Diversity and was proud to advocate for plus, mature, disabled and petite models of all colors with the UK government. We chose to move back home to be closer to family in 2012, and we’re so glad we did! I still book work in Europe both in modeling and singing, so this is a nice balance. Tawana: Are there any models that inspire you? Carmina: I have always been a massive fan of Fluvia Lacerda! She is SO beautiful, and she is a big girl. When I was first coming up there was still a prejudice in the plus industry towards smaller models, and she was one of the only bigger girls out there. I love that Cat Schuller and Emme are still out there making waves in the industry too – those ladies are OG. Tawana: Are there any designers and/or coordinators that you look up to and would love to model for (that you haven’t already)? Carmina: My long-term goal as I transition to mature model is to
21
have a national campaign with Macy’s. I’ve done a little work for them, and the quality and style of their brands really speaks to me as a model. In terms of a plus design house? Elena Mirò! I’m really proud to be one of Dede Allure’s Signature Models for 2016, and I’m also modeling for Serita Bell now. Tawana: Tell us about your company MODAL; how did it get started and what is it about? Carmina: MODAL Productions was launched in late 2014, it’s a music and fashion mentoring and consulting firm. I’m not an agency in any way, but I work one-on-one with singers, models and other folks in the arts who want to market themselves for the business world. I do a lot of diversity advocacy through MODAL as well, such as giving lectures, workshops, public speeches and so forth. More info is at www.modalproductions.com. Tawana: What is the meaning behind the name MODAL? Carmina: Modeling, Opera, Diversity Advocacy, Lecturing...these are some of my passions. Add Moda (fashion in Italian), Mode (Medieval and jazz musical scales), Model, Mogul… and MODAL was born. Tawana: If you could change anything about the plus size industry what would it be? Carmina: More quality, less quantity. Every day there are new designers, magazines, bloggers, social media sites, support groups etc. popping up and the message is really getting diluted. And maybe that’s the point – there shouldn’t have to be a message in the first place. Tawana: In addition to everything else we discussed, you are also an Opera Singer. Before we discuss Opera, please do tell me where you find the time to do all that you do? Carmina: Right?! Plus with my health problems I’m down for the count a few hours a day or days a week – just think what I could accomplish if I were at full steam! I still have many health problems and folks are shocked to find out how unwell I actually am. So I’m very organized and work smart. I find building a lot of structure and organization, but at the same time a lot of flexibility, into my schedule works the best. Tawana: Now how long have you been singing? Carmina: Well I pretty much came out of the womb singing – I come from a very musical family, there were always records playing and someone singing. But I’m the only one with formal musical training; I started piano as a young child, sang in choirs from age 8 on, started voice lessons at 13 and went to music camp every summer. I attended music conservatory for college & grad school, so I’ve been it this most of my life. Tawana: Did you always sing Opera? Carmina: I’ve always sung classical or Western art music, my whole life and that mainly includes opera. But in addition to classical and opera, I was raised on a steady diet of jazz, folk, blues and rock. I’ve performed lots of folk music as well as contemporary and experimental – I even have a jazz & pop demo CD coming out this Fall! But my passion is in classical.

Tawana: Is there any connection between the two? I mean modeling and Opera singing are on two completely different sides of the fence. Lol Carmina: Actually they are very similar! I get asked this a lot – either way, I am on a stage using my body to tell a story, or to sell a product. Just like modeling and acting are closely tied, I find very little trouble balancing modeling and opera singing. Also I fight for body positivity, diversity and inclusion in both fields – I have a rare voice type (Contralto, very very low for a female) and we are treated horribly in the opera world. I swear I could write a book about prejudice in the industry and just switch out the words “plus sized” for “female Bass” and the book would read exactly the same. Tawana: Wow! Now that is rather interesting, and certainly a book I would read. Which of your loves take up the most time for you? Singing, your MODAL Company or Modeling? Carmina: That depends on what I have on my plate in the near future. I have 4 lead opera roles going down in 3 months this Fall, so I probably won’t book too many model jobs then. I have to learn music in Hungarian, Russian, French, German and Italian as well as English for this batch. But this summer I have wall-to-wall model gigs and few performances. It ebbs and flows throughout the year based on my bookings. MODAL is still new so it remains to be seen how much of my time I’ll shift towards it. Tawana: If you absolutely had to choose one career which one would it be? And why? Carmina: If I had to, I’d choose music every single time without a second’s hesitation. I LOVE modeling, it’s been a dream and goal my whole life and I’ve worked incredibly hard to get where I am in fashion. But a true musician is born with a deep need inside to perform, study, create and listen to music. Nothing on this earth can stop a real artist from their passion! I need music to live the same way I need oxygen, food, and water. It’s beyond a necessity for me. But luckily I don’t have to make those kinds of decisions!

Tawana: Have you put out any albums with your music or plan to? Carmina: As I said above I have a Demo CD coming out in a few months with examples of jazz, pop and even a little reggae! I’ve sung on a number of classical albums out there, but my own opera demo CD is in the works for 2016. Tawana: What advice can you offer both seasoned and aspiring models? Carmina: Work very hard, keep your integrity, have fun, make contacts. Aspiring models need to understand this is a multibillion dollar business – notice I said “business” there? Just like being a doctor, lawyer, teacher, architect, plumber, actor; there is an accepted code of conduct and I get furious when young models behave badly. I always tell aspiring models that there are a million girls in line behind you for your job, so don’t for one second pull anything unprofessional. Tawana: Where can people read more about you and contact you for bookings? Carmina: The best place to start is my own website, www. suzannefatta.com. There are singing examples as well as lots of media downloads – links to my American, French and British agencies are on there too. Also, please follow me on social media at www.facebook.com/CarminaSuzannePlusModel Tawana: Thank you once again Carmina. We wish you continued success. Any final thoughts you would like to leave us with? Carmina: Thank you so much! My father told me that your career happens to you, not the other way around. Work really hard, network like mad, and then be open for what the Universe will send your way. I have lived my life this way! I am humbled to have in some small way helped people with body hatred issues, as I have been through that myself. When society tells you your voice, body, skin color, talents, passions or convictions are wrong, FIGHT BACK EVEN HARDER. I am proud to be Queen Sized!

YOUR IDENTITY By Carriece Jefferson
There are plenty of confident, beautiful full-figured women who are comfortable in their own skin but there are those who are co-dependent on how their outward appearance is viewed by others. With diet fads, celebrity trends, surgeries, retailers and social media interaction, it’s easy to idolize and covet someone who’s considered “fit”. Being full figured can be difficult in social settings, the workplace, potential relationships, and friendships because unfortunately we live in a time where people are prejudged. Are you letting external factors getting the best of you? You shouldn’t because it isn’t meant for everyone to be small and there isn’t a cookiecutter formula of beauty. To get the “perfect look” some women are desperately trying to lose weight by testing various fad diets. Sure the weight will come off rapidly but the weight will come back just as fast. Being healthy isn’t measured by the numbers on the clothing tags; it’s a combination of mental, emotional, and physical. There are plenty of petite and slim individuals in the world with major health failures. You can’t look for the love in others to compensate for the lack of love you have for yourself because it starts with the mental aspect. First, you must know who you are. Everyone was placed on earth to fulfill a purpose and you have to know your value and what you are destined to become. Once you are aware of the essence of your core being, you need to accept yourself and own it. Once you accept yourself in spite of size and flaws, then you can truly embrace yourself. If you’re surrounded by people who have negative feelings towards people who are of a certain weight, it’s time to change your environment because eventually their internal issues will encumber you both emotionally and psychologically. The next time you’re in a setting where you’re made to feel bad about your size, just remember that those two-digit numbers aren’t your identity.

Charlese Williams is an aspiring full figured model from Capitol Heights, MD. As a child Charlese was very selfconscience. She has never been what society deems normal size. Like most, she struggled with her weight and the fat jokes until she learned to love herself. In Charlese’s junior year in high school she joined the cosmetology program. She became quite passionate about her new love that it inspired her to want to try different looks. She wasn’t afraid to play around with different styles of hair, the clothing she wore, and she even played around with makeup. Being in the program opened her eyes to so much more; she wanted to learn everything. “Watching Rip The Runway one night really opened my eyes. I began experimenting more with makeup. Once I felt like I took that leap of faith and booked my first shoot. To this day I love everything about the fashion world. Fashion is my #1 passion, and I believe God instilled in me the gifts to do hair, makeup, and the ability to add my own flair to my clothing because this is my calling. Not to mention I love the camera. With my positive attitude and happy go lucky personality I would be that breath of fresh air on any set.”

Traces Of My Pen By: Amanda Tucciarone
Simply Love If love is so difficult to describe, How can it be simple at the same time? How can something peaceful fuel every beat your heart creates While remaining in your mind from the very moment it finds you. It’s the kind of power that makes you do things you may absolutely hate, yet do anyway because it makes your partner flash that cheesy innocent smile you can’t help but adore. ~ Love is being vulnerable together and scared together too; I’m talking about the kind that hits you the second you wake up, And continues as you sleep. It’s the kind of magic that makes you feel something over and over again every time you look at them, Regardless of how much you may fight or disagree at times. ~ You know it’s real when You’d follow that person all around the world; And all the way to the moon, passing around each and every little starOnly to land right back where you first began. Love is making a road trip out of running to the grocery store, And washing clothes together when you’ve always done yours separately. ~ It’s the kind of thrill that thrives on moments; Like when your partner first wipes away your tears letting you cry on their shoulder for the very first time officially earning their stripes. Or sitting next to them in the car as they sing along to every single song on the radio… Even the ones nobody has ever heard of before, But sure enough they know every word. It’s the kind of drive that wouldn’t stop you from doing anything in the world, just to make sure that person knows how much you love them. ~ That’s when it’s real… When you’re caught reminiscing on the past of what hasn’t been a year yet. When helping out that person may take everything you’ve got to give; And I mean everything… But you do those things anyway. Even simply being able to talk to that person about all the crazy thoughts that race in your mind while also knowing the very moment sadness appears in their eyes. Knowing the difference in their voice, Whether it’s for happiness, sadness, enjoyment or even gas… That is when you absolutely cannot, let go of that person. ~ Because it’s the kind of feeling that’s indescribable by words, Perfectly captured by moments; Yet still so very simple, Love.
