BEST DRESSED AT THE OSCARS
MAHERSHALA ALI
Wearing: Ermenegildo Zegna - Flawless! This is a classic Hollywood Glam look and Mahershala is pulling it off beautifully.
QueenTeam Fashion Guru: Kevin Cruz
BEST DRESSED AT THE OSCARS
JANELLE MONAE’
Wearing: Elie Saab - Stunning! Some may say dramatic, but I think this is so couture and I can see this in Paris fashion week. I love how fun she made the dress, it had gorgeous beading, and the tulle ball gown skirt adds the drama of the Oscars. Definitely a statement piece and one of the best looks of the night. QueenTeam Fashion Guru: Kevin Cruz
BEST DRESSED AT THE OSCARS
EMMA STONE
Wearing: Givenchy - Emma Stone was looking radiant in this gold dress. She was giving us a Great Gatsby look with the embroidery along her waist and the flapper bottom. She looks stunning, from her hair and makeup to the dress. Very well put together look. QueenTeam Fashion Guru: Kevin Cruz
BEST DRESSED AT THE OSCARS
BRIE LARSON Wearing: Oscar De La Renta - If ever your debating what to wear, black is the way to go- and it definitely worked out for Brie. She looks amazing in this velvet ruffled gown. It was dramatic with the ruffles and the slit in the middle added a bit of the Spanish flair. It fit her body very well. I would have liked to see a pop of color in the heels but overall it was a very good look. QueenTeam Fashion Guru: Kevin Cruz
BEST DRESSED AT THE OSCARS
TARAJI P. HENSON Wearing: Alberta Ferretti -Talk about 'Hidden Figures'. This custom navy velvet gown makes Taraji one of our favorite looks of the red carpet. Her figure is amazing and this dress brings out all her assets. Her Nirav Modi statement necklace adds all the elegance and class the look needs. The hair tied it all together- she was fierce in this number! QueenTeam Fashion Guru: Kevin Cruz
BEST DRESSED AT THE OSCARS
SCARLETT JOHANSSON Wearing: Alaia - This is a very girly, yet spunky Scarlett in this floral gown. I love how soft the dress is and how she contrasts it with the heavy belt, and the very fierce haircut. I love that it's fun, and flows yet it is a ball gown so it has that sense of elegance. Simply wonderful! QueenTeam Fashion Guru: Kevin Cruz
BEST DRESSED AT THE OSCARS
BUSY PHILLIPS Wearing: Elizabeth Kennedy - Velvet seemed to be popular last night at the Oscars. Busy wears a green velvet strapless gown with a button detailing that adds a silhouette on the front of her gown. Amazing. I would have slicked back the hair for amor dramatic effect, but the dress was amazing- one of the best looks of the night. QueenTeam Fashion Guru: Kevin Cruz
BEST DRESSED AT THE OSCARS
LAUREN HASHIAN & DWAYNE JOHNSON - Lauren's amazing rose gold silk dress is paired beautifully against Dwayne's velvet blazer. Talk about eye candy! Lauren's dress shows off her amazing body with a high slit on the leg and the ruching in her waist adds that's simple sense of detail that makes this look timeless. QueenTeam Fashion Guru: Kevin Cruz

WORST DRESSED at the 2017 OSCARS
Wrap-up
QueenTeam Fashion Guru Kevin Cruz for the Red Carpet Best and Worst dressed Wrap Ups
WORST DRESSED AT THE OSCARS
JESSICA BIEL
Wearing: Katman FrancĂŠs - I love the dress. This look falls under the worst dressed list because she over did the look. The Tiffany&Co jewelry made the look very heavy, over done. I would have taken away the necklace, slicked back the hair or put it in a high pony tail with a purple metallic clutch. It would have made the dress look better, her face would have been the focal point and the clutch would have added a bit of edginess and color. QueenTeam Fashion Guru: Kevin Cruz
WORST DRESSED AT THE OSCARS
LESLIE MANN
Wearing: Zac Posen - Leslie channeled her inner Belle, however it did not go over so well. The dress seemed very costume like and she wore it very casually with her hair down. I just thought that the looks was meant to be cute but it was more of a failed look alike. I would have down a sloppy bun, with some bangs on the side. I believe that if she would have dressed up the look with the hair and more feminine make up, the look would have come together much better. QueenTeam Fashion Guru: Kevin Cruz
WORST DRESSED AT THE OSCARS
ALISON SCHROEDER - By far the worst look of the night! She was trying to go for a layered rock/ feminine look but she failed. It looks very tacky, the dress looks very cheap. Great job on the screen writing Alison, but your look needs improvements.
QueenTeam Fashion Guru: Kevin Cruz
WORST DRESSED AT THE OSCARS
 NAOMI HARRIS
Wearing: Calvin Klein - Amazing shoes, however the dress seemed a little abstract. The dress is more of an art piece than an event gown. This dress is very modern and Naomi has a classic look to her, so it simply didn't fit her. I would have like to have seen her in a dark long dress- maybe a burgundy gown. It would have gone much better with her complection. Very nice dress but it is very hard to wear. Love the shoes, not the best dress. QueenTeam Fashion Guru: Kevin Cruz
“I became an artist and thank God I did, because we are the only profession that celebrates life - Viola Davis, Best Supporting Actress for (Fences) The QueenTeam Cyber Awards Wrap-up Show selected Viola Davis as Best Dressed at the Oscars
MAHERSHALA ALI not only won his first Oscar for his groundbreaking performance on Moonlight, but he also became the first Muslim to ever win the Best Actor in a Supporting Role award. “I want to thank my teachers, my professors,” he said in his speech, adding that they taught him that “it's not about you, it's about these characters. You're in service to these stories and these characters. I'm so blessed to have had this opportunity.” He is also the fifth black actor to win in that category.

The right card in the right envelope — except the presenters were handed the wrong envelope. Photo by Kevin Winter/Getty Images
What happened at the Oscars is unprecedented. The night’s biggest award Best Picture - was handed to the wrong film, presumed frontrunner LaLa Land, because presenters Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway were given the wrong envelope. It bore the name of LaLa Land’s Emma Stone, who had won Best Actress moments before. The three credited producers for LaLa Land were almost through their triumphant speeches - indeed, the third, Fred Berger, was in the middle of speaking - when producer Jordan Horowitz was forced to take the microphone and say the film had lost to MOONLIGHT.
Speaking after the error had been rectified, Moonlight director Barry Jenkins said, “Very clearly, very clearly in my dreams this could not be true. But to hell with my dreams. I’m done with it because this is true. Oh my goodness.” He added a note of praise to his La La Land opponents: “And I have to say it is true. It’s not fake. We’ve been on the road with these guys for so long. My love to La La Land. My love to everybody. Man.” After the Oscars, PricewaterhouseCoopers — which tabulates the Oscar votes — released a statement apologizing for the flub: “We sincerely apologize to Moonlight, La La Land, Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway, and Oscar viewers for the error that was made during the award announcement for Best Picture.
WINNERS: FILM: Moonlight took home the Oscar for BEST PICTURE - After mix-up.
The presenters had mistakenly been given the wrong category envelope and when discovered, was immediately corrected. We are currently investigating how this could have
happened, and deeply regret that this occurred. We appreciate the grace with which the nominees, the Academy, ABC, and Jimmy Kimmel handled the situation.”
