Going to the Hill is a celebration of Scotland’s rich sporting heritage. Amidst a backdrop of glorious landscape from Orkney to the Borders, the photographs capture the unique world of estate owners and staff, keepers, ghillies and guests. They explore with insight and humour stalking, fishing, shooting, dog trialling and a myriad of estate activities, and give us a glimpse of life inside Sporting lodges, both traditional and modern. Glyn Satterley is a renowned freelance photographer whose work has been exhibited widely. This is his tenth book, and his work has appeared in many magazines and newspapers, most notably The Sunday Times, The Observer, The Independent, The Daily Telegraph, Country Life, The Field, Shooting Times, Country Living, Field Sports, Shooting Gazette, Scottish Sporting Gazette, Whisky Magazine, Golf Monthly and Today’s Golfer.
