LAKE VYRNWY
Since 1890, Lake Vyrnwy Hotel has been welcoming visitors to the shores of the beautiful Lake that it calls its home. This book tells the fascinating story of a hotel built as part of the extraordinary enterprise to construct the Lake itself, at the time the largest artificial reservoir in Europe. Lake Vyrnwy captures in vivid detail the development and evolution of this archetypal Victorian sporting hotel, famed as a fishing destination and still, today, an important part of the local community, economy and culture.
