Ecofill Tech Ecofill Tech is a solvent-free single-component water-based acrylic filler which, mixed with the dust produced by sanding is used to smooth the wooden floor. Ecofill Tech, thanks to its high viscosity, has excellent filling power allowing a quick sanding of the floor without shrinkings. It can contribute to the achievement of QI Credit 4.1 according to the parameters of the GEV dated 3 March 2009, because it meets the certification LEED protocol (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). How is the market doing? What are your prospects for 2020?
Company profile
Today our business focus is on a global worldwide scale we export the 40% of our product. In 2019 the global GDP is between 3% and 3,5% and 2020 is expected to be on same rates. Last year our turnover increase has been of +7%. I am sure that by pushing on those markets where the GDP is foreseen to have the highest growth, our figures will rise on same levels. Target markets are China and India where we already work with some key partners, we desire to strengthen further our cooperation in China and India.

Craftsmanship MADE in ITALY Assi del Cansiglio Assi del Cansiglio is a large prefinished three-layer planking, ideal for floors, dropped ceilings and cladding, handmade with artisan techniques and treated with eco-friendly water-based varnish and adhesive. The exposed layer is in noble beech wood from the Cansiglio Forest, which is PEFC certified. This is a totally Italian project, from raw material to production. It is a locally sourced product, because the Cansiglio Forest is located only 25 kilometres away from the production plants of Itlas, which has strongly wanted this project, a very ambitious entrepreneurial challenge born from a synergy between a private company and the public body which supervises the Veneto forests.

As far as our company is concerned, my forecast for 2020 are strictly connected to what we have done during 2019. We have worked hard on foreign markets, both to increase our presence where we already are and to enter new ones. On the Italian side, our company is committed to maintain the sales volumes we have already reached up to now. We therefore hope for a favourable trend in export, even in two figures.

How is the market doing? What are your prospects for 2020? In Italy, 2019 was a fluctuating year but it will close positively, while on the main European markets we ran very well. It is difficult to predict 2020, there are too many different situations and, even assuming that business will have a positive conclusion, it is very difficult to estimate the length of time it will take.

The new frontier of SINGLE-DISC orbital machines TMB was founded in Codogno (Lodi – Italy) in 1980 as a manufacturer of dry/wet vacuum cleaners and carpet cleaners. The manufacturing site was then relocated to Guardamiglio, also in the province of Lodi. Giancarlo Ruffo, owner of Comac, became interested in the company and acquired it in September 2000. In February 2001, his son – Giampaolo – was appointed to the position of TMB’s General Manager. His task was that of setting clear goals for the company, redefining its mission, strengthening its competitive advantage and widening its product offering. In 2006 the manufacturing plant and the company’s offices were relocated by a few miles to another, larger and more comfortable site in Cerca, still within the Guardamiglio Municipality. Now employing approximately thirty employees, apart from continuing to manufacture professional and industrial single-phase/

three-phase dry/wet vacuum cleaners, TMB branched out in the car wash sector. The company’s growth meant constantly looking for new markets, developing vertical product ranges that become gradually specialised and targeted to specific client groups. Commercial and professional vacuum cleaners, primarily aimed at cleaning companies, are manufactured leveraging the two main production lines; another department focuses on industrial appliances and “Self” machines for car washes. The company’s main markets are European countries and the USA, but TMB is also gaining ground on the French, German, Scandinavian and Eastern European markets. How is the market doing? What are your prospects for 2020? The market is doing quite well. In the last four years, TMB has invested in the development of orbital technology applied to single-disc machines and today it is able to offer a complete range alongside the traditional machines. After the successful TOR 43 came the TFO 43 and TFO 50, the latest models to complete the range, positioned between the daily maintenance machines and those for the heaviest jobs. The use of orbital technology provides excellent stability, ease of use and great maneuverability, even for less experienced operators. With a weight between 50 and 56 kg the TFO models are able to perform various types of interventions, from daily cleaning to background cleaning, from de-waxing to crystallization and polishing. In addition, the possibility of connecting the machine to a suction unit further expands the fields of use: detecting and restoring the parquet without dust and reducing work times in marble detection and polishing. TFO retains all the advantages of rotary-orbital devices such as: energy savings, water and detergent savings and mainly savings in man hours.
