1,326 software product start ups in India in 2012. India provides software to 375 Fortune 500 companies. India, an attractive technology investment destination.

Break out. Make it Happen! Most of the world is not aware that product innovation has taken off in India - there were 1,326 software product startups in India in 2012, compared to 600 in Germany and 492 in Israel for the same time period. The eco-system of software services firms in India has overshadowed this silent but strong movement towards product innovation. Indian software firms provide software support to over seventy five per cent of the Fortune 500 companies, a commendable achievement in less than a quarter of a century. Imagine the footprint that will be created around the world once product innovation takes off from the same land! InTech50 is being co-hosted by Terrene Global Leadership Network and iSpirt. TerreneGLN and iSpirt will also be giving out awards to innovators who make it to the “InTech50” list as well as the best in class as evaluated by the CIO’s.

What’s in for CIOs & Technology Leaders? CIOs have a tough job. They have to cater to the technology requirements of the enterprise operating in a fast globalizing world. While they have to sustain their enterprise-wide legacy systems on one hand, they also have to keep their nose out to snoop up future technology trends that will play a considerable role in shaping their future businesses. From meaningful market analytics, augmenting user experience design to data safety and security, CIOs have a very wide and dynamic canvas. This forum will provide CIOs an opportunity to think beyond and evaluate new world technologies/solutions that can be easily integrated within their existing framework. To be able to have their peer group identify the most promising companies and then be able to see the Top 50 in one day is tremendous value for their time.

What’s in for Software Product Companies? Conventional product development companies have had a very narrow vision of innovation. It meant creating a product road-map. In future the product companies can no longer be successful in the model of having a road map of core functionality for the next three versions - that is now considered hygiene from the buyers standpoint and not a differentiator. Buyers are looking to quickly incorporate the paradigm shifts in technology as part of their solution sets. They seek breakthrough innovations. The need for the hour is agility and new world functionality. The buyers are looking for new world capabilities (social, analytics, mobility, user-experienced design, content management, third-party data integration, etc.) that are fully integrated with the existing core systems providing an enriched solution set. They do not like buying disparate parts and spending their efforts to integrate them. On the other hand the product companies cannot do everything themselves. This forum will introduce you to technologies and solutions that can be bolted-on/integrated to your existing product sets.

What’s in for the Entrepreneur? Most of the entrepreneurs are visionaries and thought leaders and they are the folks who will help us change the way the world is going to be in future. Their actions and innovations will play a major part in our lives in some way of the other. They have a few dreams that they pursue – one is to change the world and second one is to succeed commercially. The forum provides them an environment to partner/align/ showcase themselves to visionary CIO’s and large software companies. The leading CIO’s who are visionaries in their own way can see the potential of possibilities very quickly. The forum will create unimaginable possibilities and willcreate a network that will grow and evolve in ways that we cannot predict in any way!
